Breaking Free

Thalia POV

'Guys! Thalia!!' I put down my bow and listened to Nico's yell,' IT'S PERCY!!' He yelled in excitement. I dropped my bow and ran to the infirmairy like my life depended on it. 

I was there first. Percy looked normal- just like all these months. The Avengers came bustling in. Panting. 

'What...?' Tony said, and wiped the sweat from his forehead. 

'It's Percy' Nico said, his eyes darting from worry. 

'He looks... the same' Clint noted. Nico shook his head. 

'Look' We edged towards Percy when Nico pointed at something on his neck. 

Veins were clawing up the side of his face. Making the skin around it tinge with light purple.

I gasped and stumbled back.

'Thalia?' Nico said. I looked at him, tears brimming my eyes. 

'I-I need to call A-Artemis' I stuttered and dashed towards the bathroom to IM her. I tossed my drachma in and said, 'O' Iris, Goddess of the rainbow, show me Artemis' 

The smoke flickered and Artemis swirled into life. She was sharpening her spear like she was about to start hunting. Her Red auburn hair cascaded down her shoulders, silver eyes glinted in concentration. 

'Artemis!' I yelled. She swerved to my attention. 

'Thalia. How may I help you?' 

'It's P-Percy'

'What?' Artemis asked, her eyebrows furrowed. 

Nico POV

I was pacing the room, my hand clenched my hair. Why was Thalia IMing Artemis? Why was she contacting the Goddess of the Moon?  How will she help us in this... situation? Thalia and Artemis walked in with grim attitudes. Like really grim. 

'Hello, young Nico' Artemis said, even though she was in her 12 year old form.

'Lady Artemis' I said. Thor bowed. 

'It is good to see you Thor, son of Odin' Artemis said, with a nod. I turned to Thalia.  

'How is Artemis gonna helps us?' I said, then noticed the look Artemis was sending me, 'just out of curiousity' I added. 

'Thalia, are you sure?' Artemis said, like she asked that atleast 3 times. 

'Yes, mi'lady. Look' Thalia pointed at the.. veins on Percy's neck. Artemis gasped and the blood rushed out of her cheeks. 

' How?' 

' I do not know, Lady Artemis' Thalia said, with a shake of her head. Tony coughed awkwardly.

'Care to explain?' he said. Artemis sneered. 

'Percy had been poisoned. Very dealy. The hunt have spent centuries looking for the poison Percy will-' She was cut off, when I saw Percy's hand twitching. 

'Guys, look!' I said, Percy started breathing more heavily. Sweat pouring down his face. His hands started twitching even more. Like he was breaking free. 

'Impossible' Artemis muttered, ' Come one Percy- you can do it!' I urged.Rubbing his sweaty palm. 

'Please' I whispered. His eyes fluttered open and I gasped....
