1: Reminiscing

Race's POV:

"Do you remember all the shit we did in third grade?"

"So many inside jokes!" She laughed.

"We were so little. And our teacher went apeshit on us sometimes. She lived in my neighboorhood. I think she still does!"

"That's so creepy!"

"I know!... A he. Hehe. A he-he-he-he-he-he-he-he!" We joined in together on that inside joke.

"We used to always end our phone calls with that. We didn't actually have phones, so it'd just be our home phones, but we were cool with it. Our calls lasted for hours"

"I can't believe we've been friends for so long."

"I can't either... And then my parents took me to a shitty school." I shuttered, thinking about my time there. "Not the best of times. I was so happy that you were going to JU. I was really excited to see someone who I actually cared about, and that it was mutual. We hadn't been able to talk to each other since third grade."

"I think the same was for me. People can be jerks, Chinchi."

"I know."

"Sixth grade... We were always talking amongst other things in Ms. Amelia's class. She yelled at us a lot. . . And one time she yelled at us because she thought we were spending our time on making our handwriting the same! I was just like 'No, bitch! We've been working!'" We both laugh at the memory.

"You're such a Gerard!" 

"I'm just as fabulous as him! The people there were mean though. My mum had taken me out to a worse school... It had some good things, but everyone thought I was Satan's child and if they dare talk to me, I'd shove a burning pitchfork up their ass."

"If anyone were to hurt you now, they would have a burning pitchfork up their ass."

She laughed. "Look at us now. We're about to graduate tomorrow. We've gone from third grade to graduation. . . And I love you so much, Chinchi."

"I love you too, love. . . It really is amazing to think about."

I looked at her and kissed you. I held her all night, and we fell asleep like that.
