My Little Secret {A Josh Cuthbert Fanfic}

Starbucks #1

My day began by my roommate, Emily, waking me up for work as I forgot to turn my alarm on.

"ELLA! ELLA! ELLA WAKE UP OR YOU WILL BE LATE FOR WORK"

"Alright, alright I'm getting up" I said as I did a morning stretch and pulled my self out of my warm cosy bed where I could spend the rest of my life if I wanted too.

I took my phone off charge and checked the time. 9am. Great I only had 1 hour to get ready and as a teenage girl it takes me FOREVER to get ready.

I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, I didn't bother to have a shower because I had one last night and it would take too much time. Instead I went over to my wardrobe and picked out some clothes. It was cold outside as it was the middle of winter so I just chucked on black leggings and a light pink jumper. It kept me warm and it was comfy.

I never did anything too major with my makeup, I have always looked after my skin so I haven't got any acne breakouts so I skipped the foundation and just headed to eyeliner and mascara. I then applied a little lip balm as it's cold outside and my lips would get chapped really quickly if I didn't put lip balm on.

I grabbed my bag, phone and keys from my bed and headed downstairs where I made my self breakfast. Me and Emily never ate a lot for breakfast it was usually toast or cereal. Emily had already made toast so I just grabbed a slice and spread Nutella over it.

"Omg it's so cold" Emily said as she shivered.

"I know, it's going to be like this for a while as it is winter"

"What time is it?"

"9:45" I replied.

"Better get going then"

"Yeah, I'll see you later"

"See you later"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I headed out the doors and into my car. It was even colder in my car than it was inside the house but I can't really say anything as the car was sitting outside. I turned the car on and immediately switched the heater and radio on. I then headed off to work.

I worked at Starbucks which was a 10 minute drive but in traffic it could go up to half an hour maximum. Today it was short and just took 10 minutes as it was supposed to. My shift started at 10am so I had 5 minutes to get changed into my uniform. I kept my leggings on and just changed into my Starbucks top and apron. I also pinned my name badge on as well. I kept my UGG boots on because they didn't provide shoes as part of the uniform which I was happy about because I hate wearing public shoes. Even in bowling I would bring my own shoes because people's feet sweat and I hate the idea that I have to put my foot into that event if they had washed it a million times.

I stood behind the till and waited for the first customer to walk in. A really good looking boy walked in. Brown hair shaped into a perfect quiff. Bright blue eyes that I could stare into for ever if I wanted to and can I just say an amazing fashion sense for a boy. Wow. Wow. Wow.

"Hi, what would you like to order?" I said without taking my eyes off of him.

"Can I have a small vanilla Macchiato please"

"Yeah sure that would be £3 please"

He handed me over 3 pound coins that I wish I could keep. He seriously looked like he could be a boyband member. What if he was. No, he can't be. I would have recognised him by now.

Instead of day dreaming about him I wrote down his order on a cup and asked for his name.

"What's your name?"

"Josh" he replied.

Josh. I'll remember that. I wrote down his name onto the cup and handed it over to Natalie who was making the drinks.

"Oh and by the way you look nice today" Josh said before he walked over to the collecting point.

I didn't have time to reply as I had other customers and he walked off but did he just say that I look nice? Wait WHAT. A random person that I have never met before has ever said something like that let alone even say hi to me.

Omg I'm literally fangirling to myself so hard right now. I watched him as he left the shop and walk down the road.

Ughhhh why can't he be somebody I know.

My shift ended at 3pm, just before I left I got changed and kept my work clothes in to the locker they provided. Before I went back home I picked up lunch for me, Emily and one of my other best friend Ashton who was coming over today, we call him Ash for short. He's been one of my closest friends since we were born, literally. His mum and my mum used to go to school together so they know each other pretty well.

Anyway I picked up a pizza from dominos and headed back home. The smell smelt so good I could literally eat it right now in the car omg my stomach was rumbling.

I know I still have Espresso to write and I will I promise! I'm still working on it because I'm trying to change things around and I have had a lot more ideas for it so I don't know when it's going to be up but in the meantime you'll have this!
