A young man around sixteen years old sat in a hospital bed. He wore the traditional gown and cap. His eyes were closed and he looked peacefully asleep. A small droplet of water rolled its way out of his right eye. His parents laid their heads on the bed bawling their eyes out as the heart monitor connected to him had a firm flflatly. Sixteen, sixteen years was a normal life. Up until his fourteenth birthday where he lost his normal life to Cardiac Cancer. The following two years were chemo and hospital visits until today. Where his body couldn't fight off the rest of the cancer.
The boys spirit noticed a white light as bright as the sun.
"Not yet my child. You have more time. Please live your next life to the fullest." The lights voice echoed as the spirit shifted and vanished before the voice.
Sand. That's what the boy felt as he snapped his eyes open to see a nights sky. Looking to his left and right he noticed sand as far as the eye can see. Standing up he noticed his his attire being different but he noticed his height has changed. Being in a small body wearing casual clothing. A simple shirt and pair of pants. The boy felt someone staring at him as he turned around to look behind himself. A small girl with long blonde hair and wearing what seems to be a white dress with an apron over it. In her hair was a hair band but what caught his attention more was the shadows over her eyes.
"Who are you?" He asked as the girl kneeled down to him making him shocked. "Why are you kneeling? Stop kneeling."
She followed his order as she rose from her feet. Slowly she grabbed his hand and tugged on it. Standing up the boy let her lead him away as he noticed something in the distance. Something so huge he didn't understand why he didn't see this before. A massive tree like light with its branches going off in multiple directions in the sky. The girl and boy stood in front of the tree as he looked amazed as the sight. Letting go of her hand he moved to it and reached out. But he was suddenly pushed into it as the boys body fizzled and ran through the paths.
"Till we meet again. My friend." A male voice spoke as he moved away from behind the paths.
Multiple flashes of visions appeared in front of the boy. The pain of the visions caused him to close his eyes so he didn't get a massive headache. But right as he opened them for a second due to a yell. He noticed something. A massive human body covered in a white shell and holding a massive white sword.
A baby cried as it was being held by a young doctor. He smiled as it moved in his hands causing the doctor to hand the small human to its mother. She had h/c hair that went down to her back and a medium slender body with ocean blue eyes and fair skin
"Congratulations Mrs. Schmidt. It's a boy." He smiled as the mother held the baby.
"Thank you Mr. Jaeger. Sweetheart would you like to meet your son?" She asked her husband as he leaned over the two before smiling. He had e/c eyes that were shielded by the glasses on his face and slightly scared fingers from serving as a garrison soldier. He stood at a nice height of five feet eight inches. His hair was also h/c but a little bit lighter compared to his wife.
"Welcome to the world son." He cried as he kissed his wifes head. "You did amazing my dear." He smiled as the three grouped up into a family hug.
After what seemed to be a few hours the doctor and the newly formed family stood outside of the parents home.
"We couldn't have thanked you enough Mr.Jeager." the mother said as she hugged her baby close.
"It was my pleasure. My wife told me that our son will be born in just a few months." He smiled causing the father to smile.
"It's a wonderful feeling. Now I have a even greater drive to return home after a hard days work." He chuckled.
"Oh right. You work for the Garrison right Walter?" He asked causing the man to nod.
