Race's POV:

"Baby, we've got to get up and get ready!" I gently shook her, while kind of yelling, out of nervous. I was such a procrastinator. Such a bad trait of mine that I hated.

"Hm?" She asked groggily, rubbing her eyes, trying to be aware of her surroundings. It looked absolutely adorable.

I leaned down and lushed her. She giggled and started to wake up a little more.

"C'mon, baby,you've got get ready."

"hehe. Okay! Okay! I will! Stop tickling me!" She said in between laughter. I let her go and started getting the gown and hat ready and all of the other graduation essentials.

.-.

After we were ready, I drove off to the school.

"Aren't you excited? We're finally done with high school."

"Yeah. No more shitpricks to deal with, and more time to spend with the one person I care about." She leaned over and kissed my cheek quickly,

"We're close. . . Hold my hand?"

"Baby, we've got stuff to carry, and you're driving at the moment. I can't." I sighed sadly.

"Hey, Chinchi, don't be nervous. I'm right here. Everything's going to be okay." She gave me an assuring smile, and it calmed me a bit. I gave her a little peck, and told her that I love her causing her to giggle.

It's time. We're graduating. After 12 years of school. It's over.. Not counting college of course.

"Buddha dammit, I'm so nervous, baby." I said.

"It's okay. I am too." I held on to her tightly. We walked off, waiting for our principal to give the speech. I looked at all the people in the stands. Not a single one there for me.

Great.

They called out special honors, and other shit. I was just focused on this being over with. I couldn't take my eyes off of my Baby Bunny. Soon enough I heard her name.

"Taylor ---- graduating with -------" There was a  polite applause from the audience. She walked up there, took her diploma in hand, and discreetly spit on the shoe of one of the teachers that she disliked. I smirked, and thought about how amazing she was.

She sat back down and looked at me, her face asking if I saw what she had done. I smiled back approvingly, and she laughed a little and turned back around.

"Race ----- graduating with -------" I stood up and grabbed my diploma with shaking hands. I didn't bother with the teachers, or making a show. It's not like there was anyone out there I needed to impress. Once I was  back at my seat, thinking of what was going to happen after that.

.-.

I drove back through heavy traffic for a bit to get to Olive Garden to eat. I paid for us both. We ordered, and made it all sorts of romantic. We said cute little things to each other, and failed miserably at doing the NoodleThing. We just laughed, and talked and had an amazing night. We went to a near by playground and just talked and held hands and swung. It was  absolutely beautiful. We looked at the stars and made little wishes on them.

"None of these stars can compare to your beauty. I'd rather have you than ever see a star again..."

We just stayed in each other's arms for a bit. We eventually went back to the car and go home.

.-.

Once we reached the door, I told her to get her stuff.

"What? Why?"

"It's time. We're leaving. We're running and we're not coming back. We'll be free."

She smiled and ran inside and got her things together, and we walked out.
