Chapter 3

[You and Jungah finshed work and said your goodbyes and went home]

Lina: (plopped onto the couch) I'm so tired... (looks at the tv and turns it on)

[You watched movies until night and got bored. So you decided to take a shower and get ready for bed. As you were getting into bed you heard the doorbell ring.]

Lina: (running to the door) Coming!!

[You opened the door to find your mom and her boyfriend drunk. Your life isn't at all as you make it seem at school. At school you make it seem like you live a happy go lucky rich life. In reality it's the other way around. Your mom and  mom's boyfriend are both alcoholics. Your mom is abusive and the boyfriend is a perverted towards you. The only person that knows the truth is your best friend, Jungah.]

Mom: What took you so long to open the door?!?

Lina: Sorry, I was getting ready to--

Mom: Whatever I don't want to hear your excuses... (while walking to the couch)

Mom's bf: Hey what did you do today?? (whispers) Thinking about me?? (while sliding his hand up your outer thigh)

Lina: Don't Touch Me!!! (pushes him away and he runs into the coffee table)

Mom: Hey!! (walks up to you and slaps you) Don't you dare touch him like that!!!

Lina: But he was--

Mom: Shut Up!! Kneel down.. Now!

Lina: No Mom, Please.. (tearing up)

Mom: Now!!

[She went to grab a thin stick and then grabbed you by your hair and forced you to kneel down and she starts whacking your back while yelling at you. You started sobbing and with every hit you tried your best to hold in your screams]

Mom: Are you going to disrespect him again?

Lina: (while crying and getting up) Only if he disrespects me. (glaring at him and your mom)

Mom: (hits you one last time) GO TO YOUR ROOM!!

[You ran to your room, locked your door and layed on your bed and cried yourself to sleep.]

[The next day you got up and got ready for school and met up with Jungah at school]

Jungah: Hey Bestie!! (smiling)

Lina: (faking a smile) Hi!

Jungah: (knows something is up) What's wrong?

Lina: Nothing..

Jungah: A-huh?? Then why are you faking a smile?

Lina: (trying not to cry) .... Yesterday--

[Jongin comes outta no where]

Jongin: Hey Lina!! Hey Jungah! (smiling really big)

Jungah: Hi Jongin (smiles)

Lina: Hi..

Jongin: Can I steal Lina away from you for a little bit?

Jungah: Yeah Sure... Actually I'm gonna head for class, I'll talk to you later at lunch okay Lina?

Lina: Yeah.. Okay..

[Jungah leaves and You and Jongin slowly walks towards the school]

Jongin: So about our date this weekend.. I know that we are going to watch a movie but what movie do you wanna watch?

Lina: (smiles) Jongin-ah.. I really want to go on this date of ours but I can't.. I'm sorry..

Jongin: (confused) Why??

Lina: It's a... It's complicated..

Jongin: But.. (put his hand on your back)

Lina: Ahhh~ (biting your lips from the pain while moving slightly away from him)

[Jongin was taken back from your action]

Jongin: Are you Okay? (worried)

Lina: Yeah.. I'm fine.. I'm sorry..

[You walked away from him and went straight into the classroom and sat next to Kyungsoo]

Kyungsoo: Hi Lina!

Lina: Hi Kyungsoo..

Kyungsoo: Are you eating lunch with us today?

Lina: I'm not sure..

Kyungsoo: Why not? Just come eat lunch with us.

Lina: (smiles and nods) Okay..

[Class ended and it was lunch and Chanyeol and BaekHyun walked over to You and Kyungsoo. ]

Chanyeol: Lina.. Want to walk with us to lunch?

Lina: Uh.. I'll meet up with you guys in a bit.. (smiles and walks off to meet up with Jungah)

Baekhyun: Told you she doesn't like us..

Chanyeol: I don't think that's the issue.. It seems like something else is bothering her.. But anyways.. Kyungsoo are you coming?

Kyungsoo: Go first, I'll catch up with you guys. I gotta stop at my locker..

Chanyeol: Okay.. Come on Baekhyun..

[Chanyeol and Baekhyun left with the rest of Exo. Kyungsoo also knew something was bothering you so he caught up to you and Jungah and quietly followed you guys to the back of the school and hid behind the other wall]

[You and Jungah sat down and you turned to Jungah and rested your forehead on her shoulder and started crying]

Jungah: What's wrong?

Lina: I told Jongin I can't do the date anymore. .

Jungah: Why?

Lina: Cause my body is aching..

Jungah: And why is your body aching?? (worried)

Lina: (talking while you were sobbing) My mom did it.. again..

Jungah: What!?! Why?!?

Lina: Cause I pushed him and she got mad..

Jungah: That disgusting pervert.. Ugh! I'm so mad!! Why didn't you call me or come to my place yesterday night?

Lina: .....Molla~..

Jungah: (hugged you gently and sighs) Lina.. where did she hit you?

Lina: On my Back.

Jungah: Let me see..

[You turned around and she helped you lift up your shirt and she saw all the marks on your back and Kyungsoo heard everything and peeked around the corner to look. He tripped over a rock and you and Jungah pulled down your shirt really fast and turned to look and saw Kyungsoo standing there]

Jungah: Kyungsoo-ah...

[Kyungsoo just stands there]

Lina: Did you hear everything?

Kyungsoo: (nods) Yeah.. I did..

Lina: Please don't say anything to anyone. . Please..

Kyungsoo: I won't. . as long as you tell me the truth about you..

Lina: Why should I?

Kyungsoo: Cause I want to help you..

[Kyungsoo hugged you and you hugged back and you told him everything and he kept it a secret along with you and Jungah.]
