"Akili!" Akili turned around looking at Jah, his bestfriend, who was running towards him at lightning speed.

"MAN DANG WATCH OUT!!" Jah ran into him, the both of them crashing to the floor. Jah laughed, " I thought you were going to stop me man." Akili rolled his green hazel eyes rubbing his head, " Obviously I wasn't paying attention." Jah smiled, " So... you going to the Wakandan Dance this Friday?"

Akili shrugged, " I can't find a date."

"Well you don't have to worry about that anymore."

Akili looking up at Lotus who was crossing her arms in front of him, " Whatchu mean?" He bit his lip, holding put his hand so she could help him up.

" Exactly what I mean Akili.... go to the dance with me." Akili chuckled," I mean... I don't know. I think I have things to do...." Still holding her hand he pulled her closer to him, which obviously meant she was the things he had to do. Lotus smirked, " oh really?......." Jah pretended to gag, " y'all might as well get together, I'm so tired of all this flirting in my face. Like OHMYGOD." He dramatically walked away.

Lotus laughed, " anyways...... so are we dressing the same or what?" Akili shrugged, " Whatever you want Lotus, it doesn't matter to me." Lotus nodded, " Alright, I'll text you." She waved goodbye while walking down the hallway and disappeared in her classroom. Akili shook his head and smiled.

Tonya walked into class with the same expression on her face like always..... the "don't talk to me or you'll get slapped" one. Tonya sat down and she heard giggles and chuckled in the back of the room. A girl named Elika got up and pretended to fall pushing the new girl's binders of her desk. The new girl had long braids that stopped at her back and her eyes were a dark brown. Her skin was a lighter tone than most of everyone in the classroom. Elika got up and laughed, " Woahhhh I am so sorry... what's your name?" The new girl crossed her arms, " Janeida, but people at my old school called me Jane..."

" Alright Jane. Welcome to our school. It'll be great or it'll be bad for you. Plus my brother is like the best guy here so don't even try talking to him. He wouldn't like you anyway thank you." Tonya rolled her eyes, " Can you just leave her alone? You do this everyday! Like DANG SIT DOWN."

Elika giggled and spoke sarcastically, " Oh princess is finally taking up for someone other than herself, how sweet." Tonya got up and picked up Jane's binders, " Just ignore her, she's full of crap anyway."

The class laughed and the teacher told them to quiet down, and take out their books.

Elika rolled her eyes and sat back down while Tonya did the same. Jane glared at Tonya a good while. She had long black curly hair and brown smooth skin. She was about average height which was the same height as Jane.

Jane was thankful that Tonya saved her from Elika because Elika would've had another thing coming.

Jane and Tonya walked out of class. Tonya froze at the sight of Akili walked down the hallway, he was very tall about 6'0, and had a very dark skin tone. Today he had on his signature chain with a black shirt and ripped jeans and black shoes. He turned his head and smiled waving at Tonya, and had a look of confusion on his face when he saw Jane. He began walking towards them and Tonya started blushing. Akili came up to them and leaned against the locker beside them, " Hey Tonya. Who's this?" He looked at Jane who smiled at him, " I'm Janeida but just call me Jane..."

Akili nodded, " Well Jane I'm sure you'll like this school except for certain girls here... they kind of suck...especially this one girl Elika she-."

" BIG BROTHERRRRRRRR !!!!!? COME ONNNN? "
Akili flinched and turned around seeing Elika down the hallway, " HOLD ONN DANG! IM THE ONE DRIVING HOME ANYWAY!"

He turned back to the girls and scratched his head, " I'm so sorry for that... she.... can be a handful. Well I'll see you gals later. Bye Jane...... bye princess." When he said princess he gave that award winning smile and licked his lips and walked down the hall.

Tonya nearly fainted.
