An ordinary day winter at school. The students are up and about everywhere. Scattered at their lockers, sitting outside or in their classrooms. The first period hasn't begun just yet. Only in about 10 minutes would everyone have to scatter in the rooms of hell and listen to the devils talk.
(Y/N) walked beside his mates onto the school grounds, chatting about all kinds of stuff. Video games, parties and someone even mentioned Rick Sanchez. The space pops of that shy kid. Morty. There's no one that doesn't know about the two, but then again there's no one that really cares about them either. It's not like there's a big batch of fangirls around the corner, waiting for Morty to walk by. In fact the only one waiting for him is (Y/N)..
Impatiently you stare at the clock, head in your palm as you could barely keep your eyes open. Can this get any more boring? Your class was told to read some story about cyber bullying. You already finished. Damn, by the time everyone else is done you could've read it twice and tripled already. Your eyes drop to the kid beside you, Morty. Awkward for the both of you, he was staring right back. How long has he been watching you? You both avoid the other's gaze and turn to look at something else. Strange.. Why would he be staring at you?
Once everyone was finally done reading, which you could only guess everyone pretended to take long on purpose, you were given a writing exercise. No one really did it except the nerds of the class. You look over to your left, where Lewis sat. He's been your best friend and almost brother since elementary school. You look down at his paper. Of course he's giving his artistic nature the main hand and drew away whatever bizarre creature came to mind. You smirked, he's always been someone to draw a lot. He even drew a comic about the two of you. You found it fascinating how someone could get this deep into drawing. Once he glanced back to you and shot a smudge grin back, you two exchanged a chuckle and a roll of your eyes.
Then your gaze darted off to the right. To once again meet Morty's pale eyes. Sweet jesus, he's staring at you again. But this time he doesn't seem to notice you staring back, since he doesn't try to avoid your gaze like he always would. A cold breeze snuk through an open window, bringing the cold winter air inside. You felt yourself shudder a little and sink deeper into your (Clothing). Morty seemed to notice, as you watched him shift in the corner of your eye. Once you glanced back over he was staring down at the blank sheet of paper in front of him. You took a closer glance, taking note of a slightly darker shade of red on his cheeks than usual. You couldn't just shrug it off and blame the cold weather though. No, there's something to it.. And you want to know what.

During lunch break, you stood with Lewis at your locker. But instead of concentrating on your books your eyes passed your friend and rested on the chestnut haired boy further away. There's something that always draws your sight to him. Like a magnet. You didn't even talk to each other that much. You smiled softly as your mind flashed back to a scene of Morty trying to talk to you. The two of you were put into a group to work on some weird drawing for Arts class. You remember his stuttering attempt to communicate. And fucking god you won't forget how adorable you found it. How shy he gets around you, how he can't stop himself from tripping over words and letters when talking to you. Lewis noticed your dreamy-eyed stare. A smirk spread on his unusually pale lips as he nudged your side with his elbow. "Who you watchin, tiger?" he teased, following your gaze to the short kid.
