Chapter 4.1

Heart P.O.V

We landed in California at 5:00.The boys said they would be there to pick us up when we we landed. I looked around, looking for Khalil. Then I saw a group of people wearing sunglasses, and I could tell by his square jaw and muscular arms, it was him. “Khalil!” I screamed and ran up to him, wrapping my legs around his waist, giving him the biggest hug ever. I was so excited to see him! “Hey lil’ mama,” he said to me with a smile. He spun me around then put me down, and kissed my forehead. “I missed you- a lot,” Khalil said. “I missed you too.” He pulled me into another hug.

Diggy P.O.V

It was already 5:00, and I was looking around trying to find Meghan and the girls. then, I spotted her pretty distinct auburn hair and walked up to her. I guess she saw me, because she turned around and her jaw dropped open. She jumped into my arms, and gave me a huge hug. “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I’m seeing you right now, Dig.” “Me either, Meg. I missed you like crazy.” She kissed me, and the feeling that it gave me was unexplainable. All I can say was it was a great feeling.

Aspyn P.O.V

As soon as I saw Jaden, I walked over to him and gave him a hug. “Hey, Smith.” “Hey. I missed you,” he said as he pulled away from me holding my shoulders. He looked me up and down. “You're just as beautiful as I remember,” he said with a smile. I blushed. “Thanks,” I said. “I think we should get going, let's go get everyone,” he said taking my hand and lacing his fingers with mine. He looked at me and smiled again.

Melanie P.O.V

I hugged everyone and had a small conversation with everyone except Spin. I knew he noticed because I could sense his eyes following me the whole time. I walked over to the side, letting everyone talk with their (soon-to-be) significant others. I saw Spin walking up to me. I had to make sure I didn’t let my feelings show. When we were in VIrginia, he texted me a few times, and I only answered sometimes. We had very empty, boring conversations, and I made sure to be very nonchalant about everything. “Hey Mel,” Spin said to me with a smile. “Hi,” I said looking away. “Its, um, good to see you again,” he said, ,putting his hands in his pockets. “Really?” “Yeah. I, uh, missed you,” he said staring at the ground. “Um-” “It’s ok, I know you don’t feel the same way, you don’t have to say anything,” he said cutting me off. Jaden then walked up to us, hand in hand with Aspyn. “We all good here?” Jaden asked.  “Yeah, fine. Shouldn't we get going?” “Yeah, thats actually what we came over for. It’s time to go,” he said. Khalil, Heart, Dig, and Meghan came up to us, carrying their bags. I bent down to grab my bags, but Spin touched my arm and said, “It’s ok, I’ll carry them.” Wow, he’s really sweet. But I had to object. “No really, its ok Spin. I can carry my own bags.” “No. I’ll carry them for you. I want to,” he said smiling at me. I let him pick up the bags, and we walked out of the airport, to the car.

Aspyn P.O.V

We arrived at Jaden’s house about half an hour later. “Wait, you all live here?” I asked Jaden. “Well, not exactly. This is my house, but we always spend our summers at one of our houses. But the rest of the guys live within the area,” he explained to me. He parked the car, got out, and opened my door for me. He walked us up to the front door and unlocked it. “Ladies, you can go ahead in and explore. We’ll be right in with your bags,” Jaden said. I walked in, and my jaw dropped open. There were cream floors and walls, brown and tan furniture with red-orange accents. I saw a huge window. I walked up to it and looked out it and took in the view. Jaden walked up behind me, and put his arm around my waist. “Nice view isn’t it?” I nodded my head yes. “It gets kinda lonely in such a big house though.” “Don’t you have the MSFTS to hang with?” “I mean, their cool and all, but sometimes, it gets kinda boring hanging with only them all the time. Willow is always out with her friends, and sometimes I need someone different to hang with. Like you, “ he said with a smile. I smiled back. “So, where is everybody?” I asked. “Oh, they were just unpacking the rest of the bags. Here they are now.” The rest of the guys entered the house, and put the bags on the ground. “What do you guys have in here, rocks?” Diggy said. “Hey! It takes a lot to look this good,” Meghan said. “Well guess what? You're beautiful, just the way you are,” Diggy said, pulling her into a kiss. “Gosh guys, get a room!” Melanie said. WE all laughed. Dig and Meghan were really cute together. Maybe one day I would have that with Meghan. “So, how are we going to split up the rooms,” I asked. “Well, the guys already took the other three rooms, so we’re gonna have to share the rooms. “I call Dig’s room!” Meghan said. We all knew that already. “Heart, you wanna share my room?” Khalil asked. “Sure!” She replied happily. “We’re sharing right?” Jaden asked me. “Of course, I replied. So I guess that leaves you two,” I said pointing to Melanie and Spin. “Um, Jaden? Are you sure there arent any other rooms? I mean, this is a big ass house!” Melanie said. “I know it is, but all the rooms are taken. Just share with Spin. He’s a chill dude. Maybe this will help y’all work out- well, whatever y’all need to work out,” Jaden said. “Fine,” Meghan said with a frown.

Khalil P.O.V

“C’mon Heart, I’ll take you to our room,” I said, picking up her bags.. She followed me up the stairs. We walked into the room, and I set her bags down. “Do you want me to help you unpack?” I asked. “Sure,” she said. I helped her fold clothes, and put her toiletries in our bathroom. “So, Heart, tell me some more about yourself,” I said. “Well, you pretty much know everything about me already, so there isn’t much to tell,” she said. “Haha, I guess so,” I said, laughing. “Heart, aren’t you hot? Its like 100 degrees, and you're wearing long sleeves and jeans,” I said. “I’m fine, okay?” She seemed very defensive, when it came to that. I wasn’t going to bother her about it too much, because I didn’t want her to be mad at me. “Alright, sorry for asking.”  “Sorry I snapped at you. I hope you're not mad,” she said, looking sort of guilty. “It’s all good. Um, I wanted to ask you something, but just give me a second, I’ll be right back.” I went out to the garden, and got a rose. I knew Jada and Will wouldn’t mind, because we’re all like family. I walked back into the house and opened the bedroom door. Heart was sitting on the bed, with her legs crossed. “Heart Lee, I really like you, I have since I met you. Everything about you is just perfect. Will you be my girlfriend?” Heart looked at me for a few seconds. “Say something, please,” I said. By now I was on my knees, in front of her. She got off of the bed, kneeled down, and kissed me. “Does this mean, yes?” I asked. “Yes,” she said plain and simple. She then kissed me again. I finally did it. This was going to be the perfect summer.
