"Listen of listen can you hear Death singing, your end are all certain tonight" A gentle voice serenaded from somewhere within the dark.
"Ahh, we should go for another drink Eiji~" One man slurred, along with his body which swayed to the left every other step, the smell of alcohol prominent on his breath and clothes.
As for the said male he did not answer right away, although intoxicated, he was not as drunk as his fellow co-worker, who, blatantly obvious by his demeanour was the one who carelessly drank his worries away without a care in the world. Unlike his somewhat more sensible drinking buddy.
"Shh" He interrupted swearing on his Grandmothers grave he could hear singing from a distance.
"Listen of listen, tonight will be your last night.. You'll surely be in for a fright" Again the same gentle voice versed.
"There it is! That singing again--"
"What the hell- hic, what singing?" The other man screwed up his brows, frowning at his friend with a judging stare as though he was being a bit loopy. Perhaps even more wasted than he was, which was apparent he wasn't.
The less drunken friend looked around the area, his head turning left to right, forwards and back just to see where exactly this voice was coming from. It wasn't just the gentle voice he was curious about but chilled to his core by the lyrics.
Still looking around the space he finally caught sight of someone else besides himself and his friend,
"Dude, dude look, over there!" Shaking his friend shoulder he pointed across from them a figure stepping under a street lamp with their face shrouded by their hood.
As both men stared at this person approaching them, the older and more drunken friend shouted across the street
"What'dya want ya freak!" His words of course slurred but nevertheless heard by this stranger.
As for the other friend with a somewhat concerned look on his face was quick to try and get his friend to shut up "You idiot, don't speak to that person!" he whisper yelled at him, a finger over his lips and hand over his friends mouth to try and get him to shut up before he started anything.
"Listen oh listen can you hear them all screaming, they're screaming away their last goodbye".
"What?" both said in unison with their gaze glued onto the figure only a few feet in front of them, but, with a blink of their eyes the figure vanished and that's when the two were quick to freeze up at this bizarre moment.
"They vanished-" Before the older of the two could finish a sudden thud was heard in the dead silence. A moment later something rolled and knocked into the other man's foot and in fear his eyes traveled down to his pointed, black leather shoes with blood and his friends decapitated head beside it.
"AHHHHH!" He screamed in horror, his heart feeling as though it exploded out of his chest. He quickly stumbled back, only to press again something.
"Goodnight" The familiar, chilling voice whispered next to the ear of the horror stricken man, a hand locked onto his right shoulder and the other hand impelling into his stomach and out the other end; as easy as stabbing a knife through a steak. The man spurted up blood before falling limp onto the ground.
The only one left was the ominous figure who sang, the figure stood before the two corpses until lifting their bloodied arm and hand and lapping up the fresh blood which stained it.
Malicious eyes glowed like headlights within the night like ruby's. "I think I'm going to like it here.." Murmured the voice of this sinister person with a smile to match.
