Better Together: Writing Contest

Here is a contest where you don't work individually.

Your challenge is to work with another wattpader!

I will choose the teams, all you have to do is to message me the form on the next page.

There will be 20 contestants, therefore, 10 teams (unless this number changes).

You will be split into two rounds, each consisting of a few challenges, and then your pieces will be judged by our judges. The highest three scorers will then be put into the finals.

In the finals, the three pairs will have to write a 'showstopper' type thing, which will be open to the wattpad public, to vote and comment as much as possible. The highest number of votes wins!

To accept this challenge, you must:

- Be able to work with someone from a different genre than you, to either combine genres, or to write a different one.

- Be able to get your work in on time; work efficiently with someone else.

- Be open to suggestions from your partner, and work with each other, not against each other.

Remember, the point of this competition is to stretch you outside your comfort zone, so I will be pairing you up with different genres.

Fan Fiction is not allowed, neither is any R rated material.

I will be posting a series of challenges for the pairs to work through together.

I am going to stretch you. This is a warning, prepare for poets to mix with chicklits, for werewolves to mix with science fiction.

Hopefully, you will come out the other side, better writers! (And with a new writing buddy?) You may also find that you enjoy working with these two genres, and want to write further with them. Anyhow, I hope to see your application in my inbox :)
