This is for Manuel022's Halloween Awards, so I hope you like it! I'm not good at writing scary/horror, so I hope this is good and that it scares you a bit! :D

This is the picture I used.

"So, how does it look?" Nikki Powers asked, turning around in her Harley Quinn costume, letting the top of the baseball bat spin on the ground while she held it by the handle.

"You look great, babe." Sheryll Goddard insisted with her legs crossed on the couch as she was relaxing in her Black Widow costume while scrolling through the TV channels. "Any good horror movies we can watch?"

"Ouija is on, and so is Ghostbusters."

"Ghostbusters, in case we get kids coming through here." Sheryll turned it on, before standing up, wrapping her arms around Nikki's neck, and pushing back a stray brown hair. "I love you."

"I love you too." The brunette smiled, going to lock the door so they didn't scare any kids, and that's when she looked out the peephole, and saw two children who looked to be girls, holding hands and walking up to the house.

She broke out of her girlfriend's hold before yelling in excitement. "SOMEONE’S AT THE DOOR! GET THE CANDY, QUICK!”

And that's when Sheryll felt a pit in her stomach, and while grabbing the candy, she also picked up her phone.

After all, in case she and Nikki got murdered by two children, at least their was a witness.

"Mom, why do I have to take Maya trick-or-treating?" Seth Hale questioned as his little sister skipped through the kitchen, dressed as some sort of ballerina or gymnast or...he didn't even know.

"Because I was called in, honey. Apparently a lot of people are getting hurt tonight." His mother , Jane, insisted before kissing his forehead. "Love you."

"Love you too." He mumbled as she went into the garage and Maya came back into the kitchen.

"When are we going?" She asked, as his the text alert went off on his phone, and he picked it up.

"Just a minute. Get your shoes and basket, okay?"

She giggled and ran off, but Seth was too busy looking at the text from his best friend's girlfriend that shocked him to the core.

'Seth? It's Sheryll. There are these two creepy ass girls outside of our apartment and Nikki is trying to get them to leave, but they won't go. Come help us.'

"Girls, please just leave. There is way more candy in town." Nikki insisted, talking to Corrine and Sunshine (ages 9 and 6, respectively) as they just looked at her with blank stares.
