I never thought that the lives of me and my sister would change forever. Destiny came calling for me first when I was bitten by a radioactive spider when I went on a field trip. Instead of killing me, the radiation from the spider gave me special abilities, thus Spider-Man was born. But then, destiny came calling for my twin sister when something happened to her.
Elena's POV
I never thought that I would be alive after I was hit by the dark matter from the Particle Accelerator explosion. That night of the explosion gave me extraordinary powers instead of dying. Powers that I couldn't control or accept for eternity. After that night of the explosion, I felt reborn. I woke up one day, cold, pale, thought I was sick but it turns out there was something else entirely...my powers are born. Killer Frost was born. My body's chemistry is changing in ways that I don't fully understand, but one thing is clear. These powers I have, the more I use them, the more difficult they're going to be to reverse. I never really thought that I would get special abilities like my brother but what if one day...I'm not a hero and just turn into a hurting villain? The night after the explosion affected my life forever and how many challenges I will face through my destiny to embrace who I really am.
