Chapter One: The Tub

Ahhhhhh! Mom! Hurry! I'm in the tub! I have a tail! Ahhhhhh!

"Honey it's going to be okay! Sorry, I should have told you earlier."

Told me what earlier?!?!

"Um...I'm a...I have a tail too...I'm a mermaid...and so are you"

WHAT?!?!

"I'm sorry sweetie, but it'll be okay, once you get out of the water the tail will go away."

Okay. So is this only a one time thing then?

"I'm not for sure, we'll have to experiment."

Experiment?

"Yes."

Okay, whatever you say. Just get me out of this tub, please.

"Okay."
