In the beginning, there was white.
Searing, blinding white.
There was this tingling sensation running up and down my body that felt like nothing I've ever experienced before. It was intense, it was hot, it was constant. It was pain.
The pain began to overpower my senses, enveloping my heart, my head, my throat. Smoke began to fill my lungs and with it, that same intense heat. My own screams of agony sounded muffled as if I was in a box, some huge box of bright white agony when suddenly it stopped.
And there was nothing.
In the beginning, there was white.
But then came the darkness.
