Book One: Ruby

intro

Our story begins in the land of Morfia, with the legend of the Gaurdians. The Gaurdians wore special gem encrusted armour and were dragon riders. Thier dragons were the same colour as thier armour. The armours were as follows: ruby, emerald, topaz, diamond, pearl, aqua marine, and sapphire. The guardians kept the seven provinces of Morfia in a stable peace. Then the Titans rose to power. A long, bloody war erupted between the two factions. In the end, the Guardians emerged victorius, and celebrated with a three day feast. Soon after though, a civil war erupted between the Guardians. Emerald, Topaz, and Diamond chose the side of good. Ruby, Pearl, Aqua marine, and Sapphire chose the side of evil. They killed of eachother one by one. Until the final battle came between Ruby and Emerald. Both killed eachothers dragons and eachother. Ruby dying when Emerald stabbed him in the neck, Emerald dying of blood loss three hours later. Our story picks up 200 years later, in the small mountain village of Kema, were 17 year old Maximus Coronando is about to be the first of many to change history.

Part1: Discoveries

Maximus Coronando hurringly plowed the small field. He didnt want to miss the celebration of the Guardians. He didn't live on a farm either. His father owned a tavern in town, but there was a small barnyard out back. His thoughts of food and fun wore torn away from him though, because the plow mule had just kicked him hard in the groin. He flew backwards landing on the ground with a loud thump.

" Damn that thing." Maximus said as he lay on the ground gasping for air. He put the mule in its stall and walked into the tavern. As always on holidays, it was crowded. You couldnt walk three feet without running into someone.

" Maximus," his father cried out," wipe the bar please." Maximus obeyed, and went to the bar. As he cleaned the bar, his thoughts turned back to the Celebration. Of the food and the fun, and Elaina. Elaina was the black smith's daughter and was extremly attractive. With her long red hair and green eyes.
