Finding Out

Isabelle was always considered weird by her class.  She had a weird sense of humor, and the only person who ever got it was her friend Stella. They didn't care, though. It was great only having one friend who got every single joke you made. It was fun. It was all they needed.

But one day, everything changed, and really quickly at that. Stella and Izzy were having the time of their lives on a Greek history field trip. It doesn't sound that fun, but they made it fun. All of the sudden, their teacher, Ms. Thompson, pulled them aside into a different room. They assumed it was because they were joking as the tour guide was talking, but they didn't care. They were gonna have fun whenever they wanted to.

But they couldn't have been more wrong.

As soon as they were in the separate room, Ms. Thompson yelled, but not in her regular voice. It was raspy and high pitched. Izzy and Stella had not idea what to do. She climbed to the top of the bookshelves that were in that room. Her skin started to look like it was ripping off. She grew wings right out of her back. Izzy and Stella stared in horror as their teacher turned into a monster.

"Where!? Where is it!?! Where. Did. You. PUT IT!?!?" the monster that was once Ms. Thompson screeched at them.

"What the hell do you mean? What are you?" Izzy said, terrified at was happening before her eyes.

All of the sudden, the monster threw some type of blade at them. It hit Izzy in the shoulder, tearing a gaping hole in her arm. Right then, the tour guide, Mr. Storey, barged in.

"What the hell are you doing here, you filthy heathen!" Storey said. "Go," Storey said, "Go! Now!"

Izzy and Stella realized he was telling them to go. So they did. They grabbed all of their classmates and booked it. They ran into a nearby forest, and didn't stop running. Until they found a small hut on top of a hill.

Once they got there, their classmate Nick finally spoke up about the situation.

"Why the hell are we running!?! We don't even know where we fucking are anymore!"

"Someone came after us. It used to be Ms. Thompson, but she turned into a monster, or, something like that. When Storey came to check on us, he told us to run. We thought we should take you all with us. It would be safer." Izzy said.

"It's true. You're lucky your friend chose to bring you. The minion would have come after you, too." a man, which they didn't even notice was there, said. "I'm glad to see that you're all together. Everyone, my name is Eugene. I'll be your guide around Camp Half Blood."

"Camp Half Blood? What does that even mean? Stella said, clearly really confused.

"Well, all of you are Half Bloods, or people who are half-god half-human." Eugene said.

"Half-god Half-human? So one of my parents is a god?" Anthony, another classmate, said.

"Yup. Pretty much." Eugene apparently didn't care to elaborate further.

"So? Who ARE our parents then?" Nick spoke up again.

"Well," Eugene began, "Isabelle, your father is Poseidon. Stella, your mother is Athena. Nick, your mother is Hestia. Anthony your father is Hephaestus." on and on he went listing the mothers or fathers of Zack, Myra, Krystal, Jack, Tristan, Peyton, Autumn, and Joseph. It was insane to them, just figuring this out all at once. Once Eugene was done explaining everyone's parents, he led everyone to where they would stay. Everyone had their own huts, provided by their parents.

Isabelle's Hut was filled with everything dealing with water. Her bed had blue sheets and blankets, and her hut was even placed right by the beach. It was perfect.

Stella's Hut was filled with books upon books about anything you could imagine. Her bed had nice grey sheets and blankets. It was cozy and warm. It fit Stella perfectly.
