Dear Criminal

The day was bright and young. Everyone on the mud whale was beaming with joy as they ran around playing. The only one that wasn't enjoying this beauty, was Suou. Today was not a normal day for him. He didn't feel like himself, he felt like something was missing on the mud whale. That something was Sami, he knew it. However, A good mayor must not show any signs of personal distress. How could he be someone's emotional support if he himself needed emotional support?

Suou was currently in his bedroom, sitting at the desk. "Oh Sami...I miss you so much..." He thought to himself as a gust of wind came in the room through the opened window. This caused Suou's papers to go flying to the other side of his bedroom. "Oh no..." He mumbled and went to retrieve the papers. Once he  gathered the important papers again, he returned to his desk.

As he sat down, he realized something different. There was an envelope sitting on his desk, that wasn't there before. Suou sat there puzzled for a second, trying to figure out who put it there. "Maybe Ouni put it there?" He wondered out loud to himself. "Should I open it?" He continued to talk to himself. The green haired boy picked up the letter and started to rip it open. "But why would Ouni leave a letter? He could just come talk to me...hm..." Suou pulled out a crinkled piece of paper and unfolded it.

As he started to read it, his eyes doubled in size.

Dear Criminal,

We don't personally know each, but we've met briefly. I don't have much time and I don't know if this letter will make it to you. If you're reading this you must have gotten it, please continue reading. I have pink hair, it's hard to forget. I was one of the enemy that attacked your ship. You 'looked into my heart' and told me I could live with you. I wasn't a person then. I had my humanity taken from me, please I need your help before I lose control of myself again.

-Ryodari

Suou read the letter over at least 20 times before dropping it. He stood up and covered his mouth in shock. This could of been a prank, but Suou believed that someone was in trouble. It didn't matter if they were the enemy or not.

Suou ran out of his room and banged into Ouni on his way. Ouni gasped as Suou fell to the floor. "Mayor! You have to be more careful!" Ouni helped the mayor back to his feet. "What has you so worked up?" Ouni asked with a concerned frown.

"Ouni! Ouni letter! A-and! We need to help! We don't have......t-time!" Suou was shaking and panicking. This situation had Suou shaken up. Ouni tried to piece together Suou's sentence. "Who? A letter? Who sent the letter?!" Ouni was starting to get worried now too, seeing how worried Suou looked.

"Ryodari!" Suou finally got the name out. "Who is that?" Ouni groaned, now he was starting to think that Suou had some weird nightmare or something. It was kind of impossible for someone to send a letter to the mud whale, or that's just what Ouni thought.

Suou sat on the ground and calmed himself down. Now that he was calm, he started to think about it. He didn't know a Ryodari, but he did faintly remember someone with pink hair on that horrid day. He could hardly remember his interaction with Ryodari though.

"So you don't even know this guy? you don't even know where he is...but you want us to go on a rescue mission?!" Ouni scolded Suou for having such a stupid idea. "Oh Ouni! We have to! and as your mayor..." Suou paused for a moment, he hated using his authority on people. "I demand that you help me safe him!" Suou finished his sentence finally. Ouni wasn't the type of guy to take orders, but he hated saying no to Suou. Ouni was pretty sure that saying no to Suou was one of the seven deadly sins. "If you want my help, find out more about this guy, It could be a trap...I'll help once we know it's safe." That's all Ouni said before walking away.

Suou pouted, that's not the outcome he hoped for. Though, he knew that Ouni had a good point. So, Suou went back to his office and wrote a letter of his own, hoping to get it to whoever this Ryodari person was.
