Andy's POV
I get inside the house and run upstairs to change my dad must have gone into town. I quickly undress throwing short's on a white tank top and flannel shirt on.
When I'm done I quickly go into the bathroom and brush through my tangled hair and leave it down.
I go back downstairs, into the kitchen and then to the mudroom by the front door quickly putting my boots on.
I go outside and lead the horses out of their stalls and into the fenced in area so I can muck out their stalls. I'm sure my dad is pissed at me for not getting it done after school yesterday.
Once I'm done with that I get food and water for the horses, then take them back to their stalls.
I check my phone and it's already 7 P.M.
"Shit." I mumble.
"Andy that isn't very attractive language." My dad Craig says walking into the barn.
"Hey dad, sorry I just have a date soon with Tyler." I tell him.
My dad likes Tyler, because he is friends with Tyler's parents. He get's along with Aiden's mom Lori too and even liked Aiden's dad. He doesn't like Aiden because he says he is a trouble maker, though my dad doesn't understand that really I am a trouble maker myself.
"Tyler huh?" He asks.
"Yes dad Tyler." I say.
"Look Andy, I'm done trying to keep you and Aiden apart." He says and shakes his head. "You two have been friends since you were in diapers. Truth is I don't think Aiden is that bad, I think there is good in him hopefully I'm right." He says and chuckles.
It's a relief to hear that but "dad honestly I have a date with Tyler." I tell him.
"But you were just with Aiden all yesterday and today." He states.
How the hell does he know that?
"I know you kid." He chuckles. "I hope I'm leading you down the right path. You remind me so much of myself, even though you look just like your mom. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing everything right, I wonder how much different you'd be if your mom was still around." He says.
My mom died when I was 4 years old from a brain aneurysm.
"Dad, I don't think I'd be any different." I whisper.
He chuckles. "I'm not so sure you'd be such a tomboy." He says.
I laugh. "Eh I think I would be."
He smiles I walk up to him and hug him tightly he hugs me back.
"Okay kid go get ready for your date." He says. "I won't be waiting up tonight so grab your house key."
"Okay." I say to him nodding.
I leave the barn and head for the house.
Once inside, I go upstairs and take my clothes off throwing them in the basket. I quickly jump into the shower washing myself up.
