my heart belongs to someone else

as a young girl

Mom and I moved to a new city when I was two years old. So one day we went to the store and this guy kept looking at her. So I said hello my name is Andrea and you are? So he say my name is David nice to meet u. So he ask my mother if she would like to come to a party at his family house. She said yes so they started going out alot.so I asked him can he be my dad and he said yes. So we was a family. We met his family and they became our family. All the kids grow up together. But I thought one of his nephew was so fine. (James) but I never told him or anyone. Because we grow up as a family. And I tried giving my heart to someone else but it never did work out.  So as the years passed I started putting things together and a feeling came out of nowhere. I started thinking about James..... So I get a called from MI brother telling me he and James as been living together and he been asking about me. But we live to many miles away  so I just started writing a letter letting him know just how I feel about him. So two weeks goes by and get a phone call from MI brother but it's not my brother. MI heart stop beating for a minute  I was all smiles in the inside. Hello James how have you been? Fine he say and u? Am blessed trying to be a good mother. Ya I feel u on that me to. Lol then he goes to say I got ur letter and sorry it took so long to respond but I never  knew u felt that way (James said) it's OK I said  be real with me and tell me what you really feel about the letter? He paused for a moment. Then he said why you waited so long to tell me how you felt about me and maybe dats why none of his relationships never worked out (I said I feel the same way) so how do u feel about me asking you to be with me and be my husband forever. What about our family and what they gonna say? He said. I don't care what they say we haven't been that close in years and we not blood related anyway the only person I care about knowing is my brother and ur sister because she's my best friend.
