Life beauty came to us not through a silver spoon
Our life lesson taught us the value of composure
Emotion kept in a chest lock away
Childhood only but a distant memory for we try to erase those flaws
Life really threw us a bone
One that was hard, too hard to bare
The tears that was shed and the pain that was felt
Unbearable agony unbearable memories
Tears that fill our stream for the seed would not grow
Lost in a place that made us grow too fast
Only Survival was an option
No longer a prey to those who once bared those fangs
Freed through words that inspires others
Words that tell a dark tale
Words that bring tears to your eyes
Sharing your pain to others
Making sure that voice is lost no longer
A child that has overcome the odd
Now poet with words of truth.
