Boom Boom Boom. Crack Flash Crack. This all scared Grace and her 8 month old sister Mary. They both went to hide under their mom & dad's bed. Their mom came in and told them they had to take a bath. Grace who was 11 had to take a shower by herself. She got scared that what if the lightning would strike when she was in the shower and all power would go out. She bathed up quickly so she would not be in the shower when the power went out. She watched the weather on the TV and it said 80% of thunder and lightning at 10:00 pm. Her mother said it was time to go to bed. So she went to bed , but she thought that if she stays awake it would feel less scarier. But turns out she was wrong. Ka-Boom. It was thunder. She ran to her parents room. In her parents room she fell asleep. The next day she woke up to rain pouring down. She put on some pants and got up. Ka-Boom! It was thunder. Mary woke up and started to cry. Grace ran to Mary's nursery and picked her up to calm her down. Their mom woke up and she took Mary out of Grace's arms. Her mom said they were going out to eat breakfast. Grace decided not to wear anything with metal on it.They went to Hoffs Hut.After they ate they played board games. Grace decided to play on her phone. Her mom said that they should take a rain walk.In the rain walk Grace actually had fun. Grace knew that on rainy days you could still have fun.
