Operation Emerald

"Okay, so we're all going together? Well this is going to be fun" Nora said, a scowl slowly forming on her face.

I grumbled in reply, "Fun, yeah sure." sarcasm more than evident in our voices.

"Shouldn't be too bad, I mean, Jimin is quite the eye candy, damn, those eyes are just-" Nora let out a dramatic sigh.

"You're such a drama queen" I said, pulling up my laptop. "Hmm, Grand Palais, Istanbul", I read out as I typed it into google.

"Oh click on that, it says Emerald exhibit" Nora said, propping herself on a pillow.

It's the 7th of December, we're leaving in two days, we have 14 days to arrange everything in Istanbul, I made a mental note.

We sorted our plans the rest of the day. This proved to be harder than most of our missions. Somehow, by the end of the next day we had a rough plan organized. The rest could only be done once we were in Istanbul.

We went out to have a couple of drinks before leaving to Istanbul. 'A couple of drinks' definitely was an understatement if you were to see us toppling into a cab, and drunkenly asking the driver to take us to Neverland at 2AM when our flight was due in 4 hours.

It took me a solid 15 minutes to insert the key into the lock, and a whole other 10 minutes to unlock the door, whilst Nora refused to stop banging on our neighbours' door asking for Peter Pan.

I woke to the sound of a vigorous ringing that reverberated though the numbest parts of my brain.

I immediately jumped of the bed, fully startled, looking around as I tried to gain control over the situation.

One glance at the clock told me that it was time to leave to the airport.

'Stupid, stupid, stupid' I chanted in my head as I toppled out of my bed towards the incessant ringing.

I mean it's 4:00 AM, this better be important.

My legs refused to co-operate, maybe I had one drink too many?

I opened the door to see a brushed and suited Taehyung, with a guilty looking Jimin behind him, who moved his hand away from the bell.

"Are you ready?" Taehyung began with a smirk.

"Uh, clearly not" Jimin replied with a smirk as he eyed me up and down.

His attempt at intimidating me went in vain, as I stood up straighter in my tee and shorts, "We'll be out in 5 minutes" I said as I slammed the door.

I ran and woke Nora, got dressed in like two minutes and re-opened the door, when I realised how rude it was to have slammed the door in their faces. "Come in, do you guys want a shake? Nora'll be out in a sec"

"Sure" Jimin said, a slight smile on his face.

Nora was right, his eyes were gorgeous, I thought to myself as I whipped up a fruit shake.

Soon Nora appeared with our bags, and we left to the airport.

"My sweet emerald, here we come!" Nora whispered in my ear right before take off.

"Let's go" Nora said grabbing my arm, with a small jump in her step as the both of us took in the beautiful scenery we were surrounded by, only to be interrupted by a rude Jimin bumping my shoulder to indicate that we had to get moving.

Once we were settled in the hotel, the four of us split our ways. Nora and I wanted to do some sightseeing before settling to handle our mission. We had a light lunch at a simple wood side café, where we were graced by Taehyung's and Jimin's presence.

How we ended up meeting here? I don't know. But since the two made an attempt at pleasantries, we decided to play along.

Later, we had dinner at our stay and headed to a local bar.

Nora and I aren't addicted to alcohol, but we do enjoy letting loose once in a while.

Taehyung and Jimin proved to be excellent company. We competed with shots, danced and even raced each other at some point of time.

At 3AM we all stumbled into rooms, falling asleep as soon as our heads came in contact with the pillow.
