Chapter 2

*Recap*
He seemed shocked when I said there names, like he knew them or something. His shocked face soon turned to anger again. He pulled into an alley and stopped the car, jerking me forward.

"As in fucking Dolan?" He said very angrily
*End of Recap*
"Umm... y-yea? You k-know them or something?"
" Yes I fucking do. I can't believe this shit. Why the fuck would they do that to you. We used to be so close, the 3 of us. They were never like this. Ever." Hayes said madly
"You guys were friends?!? Oh no. No no no no no!" I started to cry more and freak out.
" Hey, it's okay. I shouldn't have yelled. It's okay. I'm not like them. I won't hurt you. I would never... "
" Just d-don't tell them I told you. They would beat the shit out of me even more." I say sobbing.
"Hey it's gonna be okay" he embraces me in a hug." I'm not gonna let them hurt you any more. No one will ever hurt you ever again. I promise you. "
"But I'm just gonna g-get you hurt. It's best if you just stay away from me,"
"Hey I'm not leaving you. I got you now. Your safe with me." Hayes said kissing my forehead.
"O-okay." I say.

We stay in the hug for a bit. He rubs my back telling me it's okay and that it's okay now that he is here. He tells me that he promises to never hurt me ever. And I think I can trust him on that. He doesn't seem like Ethan or Grayson.

*After the Hospital and Back at School*

" I got my schedule changed so we have all of our classes together." Hayes said walking out of the office.
" You didn't have to do th-" before I could finish he cut me off saying
" Hey, I said I was gonna protect you. And I'm gonna stick to that promise. I don't want you to get hurt anymore." Little does he know they live right in front of me and my parents abuse me too.

I stare off into space thinking about all the bruises on me from my parents this morning and from the Twins. I then get a sharp pain in my ribs.
"Ahh!" I scream in pain. Hayes snaps his head towards me and holds my waist.
" Amber are you okay? What's wrong? What hurts?"
" Its my stomach and ribs. I'll be fine though."
"Here let me lo-" I cut him off
"No!" It was too late. He was already looking at my ribs and stomach. He began to tear up.
He then clears his throat getting mad again.

"Who did this?!" Hayes asked
"Hayes I'm okay. Just don't worry ab-"
"Tell me who did this to you Amber!" He begins to cry after he said that.
" It was them, Ethan and Grayson. They did it this morning on the way to school. They live across the street from me..." I say looking down, not telling him it was my parents too. I am ashamed of my bruises. Especially if you get them from the people who are supposed to love you the most. It's to painful to think about.
"Hey it's okay Amber."
"I'm so sorry Hayes *cries*"
" For what. You did absolutely nothing wrong." "We shouldn't be friends. I don't want them to hurt you too."  I say crying even harder
" Don't worry about me beautiful. I will be okay. Your well being and health is much more important to me than a few scratches on my face. Okay?" Hayes says kissing my cheek.
"O-okay. We should get to lunch." I say blushing
"Okay whatever you want beautiful" He winks and we walk to lunch.

*After School*
" Hey, Hayes maybe you shouldn't walk me home. I don't want Ethan and Grays-" I get interrupted by the Twins.
"Hey bitch. Ready for your beating" Ethan says
"Yea you little slut I have had a pretty boring day so this should be fu-" Grayson gets interrupted by Hayes.
"IF YOU FUCKING TOUCH HER DOLAN I SWEAR YOU WILL REGRET IT " Hayes screams.
"Hayes?" They both say in union.
" Oh my god bro! Your back!" Grayson says going in for a bro hug or whatever guys do.
"Don't fucking touch me. Your a monster. How could you treat such a innocent, beautiful girl so bad! Who the hell are you guys? Have you seen her fucking stomach and ribs! They are fucking blue and purple! Not one single inch of her stomach isn't bruised!" Hayes said.
"Hayes, bro she is a fucking sl-"
"Don't fucking call her that Grayson! She deserves a better life than what you give her! Don't! *punches* You! *punches* Ever! *punches* Touch! *punches* Her again!*punches* You got that Dolan! That goes for you to Ethan." Hayes swings a punch to Ethan as well leaving both Ethan and Grayson on the ground bleeding.

Grayson's POV
It fucking hurts me every time we hit Amber. She doesn't deserve this, but if I stopped Ethan would be on my ass and I would loose my popularity. I have loved Amber ever since she moved across from us. She is so beautiful. She deserves all the happiness in the world. But me and Ethan took away her happiness. Hayes is right. I am a monster.

"Great! I got a fucking bloody nose now. Thanks you dick!"
"No problem. I would gladly do it again if she said to."  Hayes spat.

After he said that he winked at her and it made my blood boil. That's my fucking girl! He can't have her. What he said about her stomach being covered in bruises, it hit me hard. I am gonna go check up on her tonight. I just can't let Ethan find out or Hayes. Ugh I hope he won't be there tonight.
