Chapter 44
Elizabeth's POV
Time Skip... A Few Days Later...
It's two days before the wedding and every single person/being that we invited to the wedding is here. I can't believe everyone actually showed up for our special occasion. I'm honored, I really am. It goes to show that people do care about Bruce and I. We're both good people, we deserve to be loved by others. Hulk and I are about to spend the entire evening together on the beach as promised. For the wedding, Becky's cousin was nice enough to even reserve a section of the beach for our wedding party. Everyone knows how badly Hulk wants to spend some time with me so they're giving us some privacy. We have the best friends in the world. #blessed
Bruce and I walk down to the beach hand in hand. He gives me one gentle peck on the lips before shifting into Hulk. Hulk looks down at me, grins, and scoops me up into his arms. He playfully spins me around and smothers me with kisses. I giggle like a child and blush like crazy. "It's good to see you too Hulk. I've missed you very much. How've you been?" He smiles and puts me down on the ground. "Hulk is good. How is Liz?" "Liz is good." I motion towards the giant towel I brought and the two of us sit on it together. The sand is a bit wet but that's better than it being scorching hot. The sun's beginning to set so it's really scenic. I take a few pictures of it, but I don't include Hulk in them because I know he doesn't like his picture being taken.
I can understand why Hulk doesn't want pictures of him taken. The media does that enough and it hurts him deep down that they often portray him as a monster. He's just a big softie... if only the rest of the world wasn't so cold. For all of the hate, I make up for it along with the Avengers to give him all of the love in the world. I know the Avengers love him and value him both as a team member and a friend. That's all that matters to me.
We watch the sun go down and stay on the beach long after the sunsets. Hulk even takes me by surprise by wanting to learn how to dance. We have a private dance lesson on the beach. He accidentally steps on my feet a couple of times but I don't make a big deal about it, accidents are just accidents. Hulk's actually a really fast learner and has quite a few moves, though he shakes the ground a bit due to his weight and height. The ground doesn't shake anymore than a 2.0 earthquake, which you can barely feel to begin with. I look at him in awe. "You're a pretty good dancer Hulk. I'm so glad I'm getting married to Bruce and you." He rolls his eyes playfully. "Bruce is puny but he's a good man. He loves you so much, just like I do."
I blush and reach up to kiss him passionately. "I love you too Hulk, just as much as I love Bruce. Don't think I'm choosing favorites. You both mean everything to me. You're not one without the other. I'm so happy the two of you coexist peacefully, that means so much to me. Thank you for that Hulk." He nods and blushes, giving me a crushing but loving hug before shifting back into Bruce. Bruce takes a few minutes to catch his breath before he scoops me up bridal style and carries me back to our room. This is our last night together before the wedding so we're going to live it up as much as possible.
