Kali's POV

Jerome and I made love that night. its been six months into our break and i can actually say Im okay now. I still work and go to school and spend time with JJ. the first few weeks were rough many nights Ashley came and kept me company I was a mess. but after the second month passed I thought that he would come back but I was wrong. i havent talked to Jerome in months. but its okay I don't need him I feel more independent since the break has started; not saying I wasn't before but with Jerome he wants to do everything. he pays the car notes, light bill, water bill, my hospital bill and so much more. I appreciate what he does but I also wanna help out too. he gets upset if I ask to just pay for the tip at the resturant its always "no stop Kali I got it"  but now its different I wanna exprience  the independent life on my own. I found an apartment that's not far from Ashley's about 35 minutes tops. I haven't told Jerome yet because I can't. he doesnt call or answer my calls. if I wanna talk to him I have to tell Riko to tell him something or his mom. the only way I pick up JJ is at his mom's house. I mean damn. I know I said a break but I didn't say no contact. I still wanna atleast see you or talk to you I mean im in deep with him I can't just stop all at once. Riko told me he has started his classes. he says he can't say anything or tell me where he is or Jerome will kill him. but I feel like I went in too hard on him like I hurt him or something but come on you can atleast tell me what I did. his words still linger in my mind from the last time I saw him.

Flashback

I unbuckled his pants and watched them fall while he sucked on my nipple.

"jerome......that feels good" I moaned

he continued to caress my body slowly making me get impatient.

"stop teasing" I moaned as he took off my panties with his teeth.

"no I wanna make this night special"

"just hurry up" I yelled out frustrated

"just wait"

"fuck it! I don't know wh- OH MY GOD YES!"  I moaned out loudly. as Jerome licked across my clit fast causing me to shiver. after he finished he we straight to work making me whimper into his ear the whole night as he whispered sweet things into my ear. it felt like our first time again but more intimate being that more were both emotionally hurting. I remember his extact words from that night.

"Kail, baby I'm sorry for all my actions I have done to you. I feel like I have damaged you emotionally and physically.  I'm selfish and ignorant and I'm hurting you . I love you Kali and always will I promise you that I will never touch another woman. just promise you will take care of JJ for me. I love you babe dont forget about me."

that's all I remeber hearing before I fell asleep. when I woke up he was gone and I haven't hear from him since and its been six months.
