A Laxlu Story

Chapter 7

No ones pov

It was the middle of the night. About 1:00 and no one in magnolia was awake. But there was chaos going on inside a certain celestial mages mind. A nightmare. One of the worse she has had. Fire and blood with swords and lightning.

Lucy kept on moving in her sleep. Tossing and turning. Sweat cold rolling down her body. While she was dreaming, she woke up her blonde boyfriend. When opened his eyes he looked to his girl and saw her.

Laxus pov

I woke up due to the motion from yhe bed. I opened my eyes slowly not wanting to wake up but I can't sleep with all the movement. I sat up and looked over to Lucy and saw her sweating and shaking in her sleep. I moved closer and I was able to here her say something.
"Please.....Don't....not there....Natsu." I was able to hear her say. She was dreaming about him. The piece of shit who made her cry. I wondered what she was dreaming about. I moved closer and saw her cheeks with sweat and dry tear stains. Then i looked at the corner of her closed eyes and saw more tears falling down. I wanted to wake her to comfort her but my body isn't letting me. She said something again and I heard her clearly.
"Don't hurt Laxus." She said then moments later she screamed and her eyes flew open. I looked into them. I saw how her beautiful brown eyes looked life less. I soon hugged her and stroke her back calming her as she realised whats going on and cried more.
"Shh Lucy it's fine. Your safe." I said trying to calm her whiched worked for a moment.
"I-Im sorry that I woke you." She said wrapping her arms around my torso and barrying her head in my chest.
"No. There's nothing to be sorry about. You had a nightmare. Its a good thing I woke up." I said reassuring her. She clamed more and put most of her body weight on me. I held onto her and kept on caressing her back. She didnt flinch or move. I know she has wounds on her back so maybe I wasn't hurting her. Good. I started to get curious of what she dreamed about.
"Wanna talk about it?" I asked hoping she would say yes. I felt her nod her head against my chest and she moved back to look at me and she sniffed.
"S-Sure. Umm." She said remembering about what happened. She was sitting on the bed infront of me so i could see her even if its dark, i was able to see her due to the moonlight shining through the window. Even though she was crying, she still looked beautiful.
"Its okay. Take your time." I said while rubbing her shoulder. She took a deep breathe before speaking.
"I was walking back to my old home home, the mansion, and saw it was in flames. Natsu's flames. I-I saw his figure standing in front of it. Just standing there. Laughing. I began to cry. I ran up to him a-and started to hit him and cry. He would just hit back. Then you came a-and you guys f-fought. H-he k-killed you." She finished with more tears falling down her cheeks. I put hands up to them and dried off the tears.
"Lucy, I promise you. That will never happen. I'll make sure if it." I said looking into her eyes and she lookes back. She placed her hands ontop of mine.
"I believe you." She said and was done crying and smiled. I moved my face closer to hers and she moved near mine. Before I could close my eyes fully, our lips meet and we kissed. A long, lovingly, passionate kiss. I melted right into her lips as she did mine. After about two minutes or so our lips parted and we breathed for air. After a minute she hugged me and I hugged back. As i was hugging her, I layed back down and she layed on my chest.
"Goodnight blondie." I said.
"Goodnight scar face." She said and her and I both chuckled before we fell back asleep.

Time skip morning
Lucy's pov

I woke up last night due to a nightmare. Laxus was there to comfort me. Im glad I have him in my life. Its morning and I wake up from the sun shining through the curtains into the room and the light hitting my face. I moved around a bit then realized i was on something soft. I opened my eyes and see tgat Laxus isnt in the bed or the room. The bed feels a bit warm so he must've just got out of it not to long ago. I slowly got up from the bed and walked lightly out of the room to the living room. As I walked diwn the hallway, I passed the bathroom and heard the shower water running.
'So he was taking a shower.' I thought to myself as I continued my way to tge living room. I layed down on the couch and closed my eyes for a few minutes. I was still a bit tired so I thought closing my eyes wouldn't hurt. After a few minutes, I passed out.

Laxus's pov

I walked out to the living room with some pants on and was drying my hair with a towel. It was raining outside and it looked like it was gonna strom. 'Not good.'  Lucy hates storms. It scares her badly. Then it came so quickly. A big bang came from outside but it surrounded the house. It flashed with lightning. Lucy shot up and ran into my arms.

"L-Laxus." She was in my arms shaking. I put my one of my hands around her waist and the other stroking her hair to calm her.

"Shh Lucy it's okay. Everything is okay." I said calming her down.

"Okay Laxus." She said calming down. I never really understood why she hates thunderstorms. It's none of my business.

"You feel better?" I asked looking at her. She looked at me and nodded.

"Good." I smile softly at her and she smiled back.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I hate storms." She said giving me a suspecting look.

"It's none of my business." I said looking at her. A boom came from outside and she flinched but didn't move much.

"Well it's his fault." She said.

"What happened?"

"It happened when he came back after the first time." She said and I can tell this is going to be a long story.
