Friends Forever Or Love Together

Part one:After the Festival

Nicolette's P.O.V.

We were walking across the college soccer field. It was after the scouts festival and we could no longer talk about how childish Kawaii~chan and Aphmau were. We were very quite, both of us didn't make a peep.

And very abruptly he yelled "So what school do you go to!"

"Woah, what was that." I said stopping.

He stopped too. "Sorry." He mumbled.

"Hey it's okay."I smiled punching his arm playfully.

He laughed.

"You wanna go sit at that bench over there, and just maybe talk." I asked

"Sure." He replied. We walked over to the benches. We sat down rather far away from each other.

"Ms. Mary Academy." I simply stated.

"What?" He asked me confused.

"You asked me before what school I go to. I go to Ms. Mary academy."

"Oh I go to West Bury Elementary."

I didn't know what to reply. But luckily for me, I didn't have to since he continued talking.

"Our schools are kinda close to each other. I drove past yours. Of course we were lost and didn't know where we were going." He mumbled the last part. Even though I heard it i still ignored it.

"Oh cool, we might see each other around then."

"Probably not, but sure i'll be hopeful."

"Are we friends now?" I asked rather abruptly.

"Oh...umm..." I could tell he didn't know what to say.

"So..." I tried to urge him.

"I guess if you want to be."

"Sure." I said scooting closer to him. I was trying to act cool but, really I was bursting in happiness. I don't have a lot of friends, I really only have Kayla as my friend.

"It's okay, you can do it."

"Do what?"

"Do what ever you want. I know your really happy about this. You don't have to act so cool around me."

"What do you mean your just another friend I have like a million. I wouldn't be super happy if I just added one more to my collection."

"Like you have a collection of friends, ha." He mumbled under his breath, yet I still heard him since i'm technically a cat.

"Wait." I said remembering what he said earlier. "I'm not acting cool, I am cool."

"First rule of being cool, you never say you are cool."

"Your right." I mumbled. There were some tears beginning to form in my eyes.

"About what, I'm right about a lot of things." He said cooly

"I really ain't cool i'm just a stupid kitty cat who pretends to be cool but is really not." I began to cry. I tried to hide it by looking away from him, covering my face.

"That is not what I meant before."He said.

"So what did you mean."

"I meant you should be you around me. Trust me I have too many flaws to judge you. I don't want to be around someone who I don't even know really who you are."

"But how about if you don't like the real me."

"I'm pretty sure I already got a small glimpse of the real you and I already like her."

"Thank you. I really needed that Juno." I wiped one of my tears away with the back of my hand.

"Your welcome." he said kindly."Were friends after all, and a friend never lets another friend down."

I turned around to look at him. He must have moved closer to me when I was looking away we were so close our noses could have been touching.

He licked a tear from my face.

"What was that?" I asked

He shrugged. "Meh, just wanted to"

"I just still feel s-so...sad. Why am I still so sad." I ignored.

"It's okay it's going to feel like that for a little while."

"Well how do I make it go away faster."

"Just cry it out it'll make you feel better."

"Is it okay if I lean on your shoulder while I cry."

"Of course you can."

I leaned on his shoulder and hugged his waist. I could tell he was shocked that I hugged him. But got over it. He put his arm around me.

I began to drift off to sleep...
