Author here: I wanted to post this little sneak peek to see if anyone would actually be interested in this book. I haven't worked on this a lot and don't want to continue if no one will read it so comment and vote if you're interested in this book. Thanks. Enjoy. Beta Jack - "You're just a selfish little pup and where ever you go death follows!"
        Dakota was getting angry and she was shaking but only Acacia could tell she was about to shift and they both knew that wasn't good.
Acacia - "You need to stop before she does something she'll regret."
Beta Jack - "Like what she's just a pup."
Acacia - "I told you to shut up!"
        Everyone could see Dakota shaking and her heart beat nearly out of her chest. Her claws were coming out and she knew there was nothing she could do to stop it now. She walked outside and over by the woods. Everyone followed and looked at her. Flynn tried walking towards her.
Acacia - "Stop don't she's too far, she's not in control anymore."
        After a few minutes Dakota was shifted into the Werewolf of everyone's nightmares. She turned and started growling at everyone. Acacia started to move slowly to her.
Flynn - "What are you doing?"
Acacia - "I can calm her down." Moves a little closer with her hand out. "Kota come on I know you're in there. It's me, you can trust me."
        Acacia signaled for Flynn to start moving and just as Flynn was about to touch her a dart hit Dakota in the shoulder. She yelped in pain and started to get dizzy.
Acacia - "No! What'd you do?"
Alpha Mark - "I hit with five times the normal dosage of wolfsbane."
Flynn - "That'll kill her!"
Alpha Mark - "No it'll just weaken her."
        Dakota fell and shifted back into her human form. She was fully clothed and on her knees. Two guards walked up to Flynn and started pulling him back and another guard started pulling Acacia back.
Acacia - "Stop! What are you doing?!"
Flynn - "Let me go! Dad don't do this!"
Alpha Mark - "I'm sorry I have to."
        Alpha nodded to two guards who walked over and put silver cuffs on Dakota, lifted her up and started dragging her to a cell. A few minutes after being put in a cell. Flynn ran in. He tried to reach through the bars but they were made of silver and her got burned.
Dakota - "Stop. Don't hurt yourself."
Flynn - "I'm so sorry Dakota. Are you okay?"
Dakota - "I'm just a little weak, these cuffs hurt like crazy though."
Flynn - To guard. "Take the cuffs off."
Guard - "I have strict orders not to from the alpha."
Flynn - "I don't care!"
Dakota - "Flynn! It's okay. I'm fine."
        Flynn's dad walked down with Acacia. Acacia ran over next to Flynn.
Acacia - "Are you okay?"
Dakota - "I'm fine."
Flynn - "How could you do this? She's my mate. I'm your son."
Alpha - "I'm sorry but I have to protect our pack."
Flynn - "I don't care what you have to do! She's my mate and I will protect her over everyone."
Alpha - "Which is why she has to be sent away."
Flynn - "What?"
Acacia - "You can't."
Alpha - "I'm sorry but it's what I decided."
Flynn - "Then i'm going with her."
Dakota - "No, you won't."
Flynn - "Kota. I'm not leaving you alone. I-"
Dakota - "Yes you are, I can handle myself. I did for ten years before I met Acacia. I'm grateful to both of you but you have to stay here. Flynn you'll be Alpha and Acacia you'll get to be part of pack just like you've always wanted."
Acacia - "Like we've always wanted."
Dakota - "It's just not in the cards for me." Looks at the Alpha. "I'll leave peacefully and never return on one condition."
Alpha - "What?"
Dakota - "Acacia can join the pack and you protect her, like your own."
Alpha - "You have my word. I'm sorry it had to happen this way."
Dakota - "Me too."
Alpha - "You will leave tomorrow at dawn. Come on son."
Flynn - "I'm staying here."
Alpha - "Fy-"
Flynn - "I'm staying here! I'm spending the last few moments together here with my mate. Just take off the cuffs and let me hold her one last time."
Alpha - "I can't."
Flynn - "Please."
        Alpha looked at Dakota almost asking if she will do anything and she shakes her head. He motions to the guard and the guard opens the cell and takes off her cuffs. She'd immediately engulfed in her mate.
Acacia - "I'm gonna give you two alone time."
Dakota - "Don't go."
Acacia - "It's okay i'll say goodbye tomorrow you need each other tonight."
