Make sure you pick a job that you love to do. It's really important. To prove it...I'm a great example. I get to work with my best friends and their band, A Day To Remember. I don't know where I'd be without them!

"Ready to go, Karley?" Jeremy nudged me as I sat on the couch alone, messing around with my phone.

"Huh?" I looked up, disoriented. "Yeah, yeah." I almost forgot about the Meet & Greet. It was a time where I tried to control a bunch of crazy fans.

"It's way too fucking hot out here." Neil complained as we arrived at the sight.

"Thank you. Thank you for that." Josh commented at Neil.

"I'm way too hungover." Alex smashed his face to the table.

"Come on, guys. We're doing what we love." Kevin came up behind me, all smiled.

"Ever single time!" I gritted my teeth as I smiled. "You get me every time!"

"Sorry, I can't prevent my ninja-like skills." He giggled, walking around me to sit in his seat.

I stood in the back behind all of them. The line was forever long and very...very...very loud. I thought I brought earplugs for the music, but I ended up bringing it for the screaming fans. I watched each one of them deal with crazed obsessed people.

"And who might you be?" I heard a voice as I was turned around, focused on something else.

"I'm Karley." I gave the man a weird look. He had just finished talking with the band.

"Well, I'm hoping to get your number." He licked his teeth, thinking he was the smoothest cat in town.

"Um, no." I giggled, trying to go back to my work, but he gently grabbed my shoulder to stop me.

"C'mon, you won't regret it." He winked.

"I said no!" I shouted. Kevin turned around at his edge of the table. He had an angry look.

"Hey!" He got up, dissing the fan that was waiting. "Leave her alone! Didn't you hear her?"

"Kevin, it's okay, really." I blushed. He's never really stood up for me before. He's always been mostly distant.

"No, guys can't just go around harassing girls that say no." Kevin explained.

"Listen, I'm sorry, guy, really!" The man backed up and walked away speedily.

"Thanks, Kevin." I blushed.

"No problem." He blushed back, a weak smile on his face.

After the long, hot, and annoying Meet & Greet we were all back on the bus. The boys were all sweaty and tired from performing.

"Did you see the way Kevin handled that guy?" Jeremy laughed, beer in hand as he slouched on the leather sofa.

"He was a total dick. I heard everything." Neil shook his head.

"Hey, Karley, can I talk to you outside?" Kevin walked over after taking a shower. He smelled heavenly.

"Yeah sure." I smiled, getting off of the sofa.

"I really wanted to talk to you ever since that...guy." He giggled as we stood outside in the warm sunlight.

"What's up?" I leaned against the bus, surely getting my shirt dirty.

"I really want to confess something. It's been bothering me for a while now." He scratched behind his head.

"Well, I'd like to know before we get to our next location." I giggled at him. He laughed nervously, looking around. "Just tell me, it's obviously got a weight on you, you're all nervous and junk!"

"I like you, Karley." Kevin quickly spat out. "I really fucking like you." My jaw dropped completely.

"This whole time I thought you didn't really like me!" I was flabbergasted.

"So, what do you say? Do you think you could give me a shot...go out with me?" I could tell his heart was racing.

"Sure, Kevin, I'll give everything a shot at least once." I winked at him, my own heart picking up pace and making me feel for him like never before.
