How it all began

Brenda's POV

I was starting freshman year. It was the first day of school. I was all alone walking through the hallways seeing my friends talking to their friends. Suddenly I ran into a familiar face. It was Mayra, my friend from middle school.

Mayra and me smiled at each other and I gave Mayra a hug and told her how much I had missed her over the summer. Then Aaron came and gave Mayra a peek in the lips. All that I could say was "Ew!!! Get a room." Aaron just laughed. We went to the tables were they were handing out students schedules. We grabbed our schedules and checked if we had any classes together.

Mayra and I both had Academic leadership, English and biology. We were so excited that we had classes together so that we could help each other with the homework. As Aaron finished checking his shedule with Mayra he asked for my schedule. When he finished looking at my schedule he looked at me with a surprised face and said "wow we have all our classes together except advisory" then looked over at Mayra and said "sorry May it seems like we only have advisory and English"

The bell rang and Mayra and me waved goodbye and I went to my first period class while Aaron walked Mayra to her class

Ok now that I spoiled some of the story lets begin with how it all started.

It was a few days before school started and all the new upcoming students to the school had to go to a mandatory college tour.

It was the day of the college tour I was so anxious to know if I would end up in the same advisory as my friends and who my roommate would be. When I got to the school my mother and me walked to the sign in table were I got a land yard with my name on it and the advisory I would be in.

As I waved goodbye to my mom I went inside of the cafeteria and immediately looked for my friends. Once I found them I sat with them and asked what advisory they all were in. I was disappointed with their answers cause I had none of them for my advisory. We kept talking and I just waited for Mayra and Janelle to arrive at the school.

Mayra got their first. I ran up to her and both of us sat in some empty seats. Once we both sat I immediately asked Mayra who her advisory was. I was also disappointed because we weren't together. I waited for Janelle to arrive when this guy that I had never met approached us. He seemed to know Mayra because once he got to us he gave Mayra a hug and a peek in the lips.

After I was forced to see that Mayra said "Oh how rude of me I havent properly introduced you guys . Aaron this is Brenda my friend from middle school." I just shook his hand and said "nice to meet you i hope we can become good friends like me and Mayra." He responded with a wide smile. Once Janelle arrived I was relieved that I didnt have to stand Mayra and Aaron with their whole love talk. I said bye to Aaron and mayra and went to sit with Janelle. I eagerly asked who her advisory was. Once Janelle told me that we were in the same advisory we screamed and hugged.

Then the vice principle came and called every student one by one and told them who their roommate would be. Janelle and I were hoping to be together but ended up getting different roommates.

My roommate was a girl named Edith. I didn't know Edith at all but I tried my best to talk to her and not be shy. When we arrived at the college we took our suitcase to our dorm then went downstairs again.

Throughout the whole trip I would only talk to Janelle since I was shy and didn't really know anyone. On the last day I decided to break that shel. I started talking to others in my advisory besides Janelle. When we were getting lunch right before we left I ran into a girl named Analleli who was also in my advisory. We both wanted French fries so we decided to share. Analleli and I talked then Analleli told me that it was her birthday. When we were about to leave the cafeteria I immediately said to my advisor "It's Analleli's birthday can we sing her happy birthday." He said sure so we sang happy birthday to Analleli and to others whose birthday had passed over the summer. Then we headed to the buses. On the way home throughout the whole bus ride our advisory sang songs and the other advisories would sometimes join in.

And that's how it all began now let's continue were we left off at.
