The moon's completely showcasing its glory when the couples finally exit the restaurant.

"I'm so full I could give birth any minute." Mrs Jeon groans.

Mr Jeon stands beside his wife, grabbing her hand as he helps her get into the van with the valet holding the door. When she's inside, he steps aside and allows your mother to enter the van too.

"Quit exaggerating honey." Mr Jeon mumbles, gently pulling his wife's head to lay on his shoulder once settled next to her.

Jungkook hasn't said a single word ever since he dragged you out of the restaurant. Not once dared looked your way either.

Soon enough, you finally arrive home. He leaves for his own home and you prepare yourself for bed, throwing on your comfy pajama. You were in the middle of watching a movie when you heard the doorbell ring. Mom and dad would've come inside right away so who could that be? You head down, check the little hole and open the door when you knew it wasn't someone dangerous.

Jungkook'a standing there with a phone pressed against his ear. He has a scowl on his face.

"What are yo-"

He walks past you, purposely bumping your shoulder before disappearing off upstairs.

You scoff under youths breathe. Almost in disbelief. The guy literally had the nerve to pull you out of the restaurant against your will only to what? Only to later on annoy you with his presence in the middle of the night.

"Hey!" In a second you're running to the first floor and grabbing his arm, forcing him to turn to you. "Don't you think I deserve an explanation with why you're here?"

Right now, the hallway's as dark as the land outside. The only source of light sips from the window that's hovered over a translucent silk. You forgot to close it. You blame your laziness.

It may be dark, but you can still see him roll his eyes before he's abruptly retrieving his arm back, causing you to stumble a bit from the suddenness.

"Our parent's staying at a hotel tonight." He says tightly. "And mom told me to stay here."

Oh did she?

You cross your arms over your chest and stand tall. "And why would you do that? You hate me remember?"

Jungkook frowns.

"Shut up Y/n." He grits before hollering towards the guest room.

You don't allow him, instantly comprehending your location and the steps he took. His fingers clashes on your tummy when you slip to his front, blocking him and staring straight into his eyes.

There's a window on your left side, at-least now, you can catch the outlines of his face.

You're standing in between him and the door. "I won't shut up. This is my house and I have every right to choose wether I want to talk or not. Right now. "You grip his arm. "I want you to leave."

"What if I don't want to?" He whispers.  "What if I don't want to leave? What are you gonna do about it doll?"

"Simple." You say. "I'll drag you out myself."

Attempting to drag him out turns into a big fail. You suddenly find your back harshly clashing the door with Jungkook's face leaning close.

You don't understand him. So far, he's only left you to confuses over his behaviors. One minute he's a total prick, and the next. He's hugging you like his life depended on it. He claims that he hates you, yet he refuses to leave you alone.

You're lost, irritated and sick with all of this.

"You never change do you? It's already been twelve years yet you're still thinking about yourself." He chuckles darkly, breath tickling the side of your face as he leisurely tucks a hair behind. "You still don't care about how I feel."

Still?

What does he mean by still? Staying motionless would probably be a good choice right now. He might actually spill out something useful.

Your breath stalls when he slowly leans to brush his nose on your cheek, slowly trailing to your ear as his arm slips down to enclose around your waist.

He sighs. "Kira was right. You'll never change."

You realize that you're home alone with a boy. A boy you've known since birth but with a broken bond. He's basically a stranger to you, and you're in a bad position.

"Jeon. You should leave."

He stubbornly shakes his head, and at that very moment. You feel something wet on your shoulder.

"Please."

He says, and this honestly pushes you off the cliff. You weren't expecting this at all. Is he?

But you push it aside.

You're gonna go against Mrs Jeon's words of her son staying here. She'll never know if no one brings it up.

You made your choice. You want Jungkook out.

But why on earth are you so bothered with the fact of him silently crying on your shoulder? Why is he even crying to begin with?

You bite your lip, feeling a pang in your heart when his grip on your waist tightens. You don't understand why he's crying. You don't understand anything about him in general.

Planting hesitant hands on his chest, you try pushing away.

" Y/n." He sighs into your skin. "I miss this. Just a little more."

But you don't want a little more. You need space actually. Time to think. If he still wants it, he can stay in the guest room-you don't care anymore.

Right now. You just need some time alone to pick up your scattered emotions.

"Jungkook, you need to let g-"

His chuckle cuts you off. So light, sweet, and genuine. For the first time in twelve years, you're able to hear his real laughter. No strings of sarcasm or hate attached to them. You're almost falling limp in his arms.

Your body shivers when he trails up to place a soft peck on your cheek, cold tears brushing your skin too and your heart just dropped.

"I missed you calling my name Y/n." He mumbles. "Again please."
