Part 1: Bye miami

"Lauren time to go, bring down the last of your bags so we can get going." my mom yelled from the living room. I really don't want to leave Miami its where I grew up it where I became Lauren the singer and Lauren the dancer. "Coming be there in a second mami" (Spanish for mom) I grabbed my hot pink back pack and ran down the stairs. My mom and sister were already in the car so I just hopped in and we were off. We were off to start a new adventure in a new place with new people.

"I'm going to miss this place" I sighed "me to Mimi,me to" I heard my mom mumble. if we are going to miss this place so much why move you may ask. the answer is simple my mom got a job transfer to none other than Mooresville North Carolina. I've never head of it. Can you blame me I live in miami a big city. Even though my family loves to travel I've never been to North Carolina let alone Mooresville.

So the car ride was long,boring and annoying. my sister was basically complaining the entire way. "I want food" "I'm tired" "I'm bored" is what mostly came from her. don't get me wrong I love my sister and little kids but I HATE complaining. We pulled over at a rest stop in Georgia to get some lunch. I decided to eat a Wendy's. I walked over to the line and as I was walking a group of guys Mabye around 14 years old were staring and pointing and making face like "she's hot" faces. one of the kids gets behind me in the line , I have to admit it was awkward standing there with him checking out so I finally said "may I help you " he shakes his head and looked away nervously. hmm that's odd. so when I got to the register I got a 10 piece chicken nugget combo with fries and a drink. I was walking to my car when the Wendy's kid ran to me and gave me him number he said and I quote "give me a call if you want some fun beautiful" umm that's weird. I put the paper with his number in my pocket and walked to my car.

I ate up all my food in no time. I put in my head phones and listened to country music until I fell asleep.
