Author notes-

Hi everyone, I hope you enjoy the story I am currently writing.

A dark figure swoops down on a nearby two story house.

"Sahuja, do you copy?" The dark figure asked softly.

"I'm here. Are you inside?" Sahuja responded from the other end of the ear piece.

"Negative. About to enter the house now."

"Proceed with caution, Shadow."

"Understood, over and out."

He entered the house unnoticed and made his way up to the second floor. He brought out his low light flashlight and began to look around the floor for clues as to what had happen that night.

"That is strange, I know a call came in saying there was a murder here, but I am not seeing any sign of a struggle. What is going on?" He said to himself.

He kept walking quietly through the house making sure to not make a sound when the light hit a boy in the middle of a door way with his back turned toward Shadow.

"Son, I need you to step toward my voice."

"If you are looking for a killer, I am right here." The voice said proudly.

He watched as the young boy turned around with two long cuts on his face, a white bloody sweater, long raven black hair, a black pair of pants, and what seemed to be black combat boots holding a blood soaked knife.

"Ok, kid. Play time is over. Put the knife down and no one will get.."

Before Shadow could finish his sentences the kid ran at him with the knife held up. He quickly got in a stance as the kid thrust his knife downward at him. He grabbed the kid's arm and flung him over his shoulder and onto the ground and preceded to twist the kid's arm making him releasing his weapon. The kid screamed and cried as he placed one well strike knocking the boy unconscious. He rolled the boy over and started to examine the kid's face.

"I am seeing two freshly cuts on the boy's cheeks, and what appeared to be bruising under the eyes."

He began to examine the kid carefully now as he made his way down to the kid's wrist. Upon closer examination, he notice defensive wounds.

"We have a problem."

"What is it?"

"I am seeing defensive wounds on the boy's wrist. Either someone force him to do this or..."

"Do you think it is our old friend, Dr. DeWiski.?"

"Not his MO. It's more like....What do we have here?"

"What is it?"

"I have lacerations on both hands. The boy fought whomever did this to him."

"Hurry it up, the police are on the street."

"Roger that, will be out in a bit."

He shook his head as began to tie up the unconscious kid. The police arrived at the house soon and arrested the kid for murder. Shadow stood on the roof looking on as he saw the officers bring the boy out and placed him into the squad car. He turned around on the roof of the house and slowly climbed down hoping a fence.

"Shadow good job." Sahuja said.

"This is too weird, that is the 10th time this month a kid has done that. Why do you suppose they are doing this?" Shadow asked.

"I have a theory but you are not going to like it."

"Why not?"

"Because it deals with creepy things."

"What are you talking about, I am the creepiest thing there is."

"Then you need to see this." Sahuja said giving Shadow a light chuckle.

"Why do you say that?" Shadow asked.

"It's something you have to check out. Go back to your house and get online and I will show you."

"Understood, over and out."

Within minutes Shadow had arrived back at his house. He climbed up to his window and opened it slowly not making a sound. He climbed through the opening and walked in his room. He soon took off his mask and hood throwing them on his bed. He turned his computer on seeing Sahuja waving at him. Shadow rolled his eyes at him as he began.

"This is your culprit." He said with a mildly chuckle.

Sahuja showed a picture of a young male, with a two cuts on his mouth making a permeant smile, two black eyes, raven black hair, a white sweater.

"Who the hell is that?" Shadow asked.

"This my friend is Jeff the killer, a famous fictitious character." Sahuja said looking at Shadow.

"So why are kids dressing up as...ok, you can put that picture away, it's starting to annoy me." He said to his friend.

"Why are these kids dressing up as this freak?"

"It's not that they are not simply dressing as him they are becoming him." Sahuja added.

"What? That doesn't make sense."

"Maybe it has everything to do with the story and not the character or maybe it has nothing to do with anything?" he suggested.

"You are an idiot, you know this right?" he said to his friend laughing.

"I know!" he said smiling back.

"Whatever it is, hopefully it's the last we hear of it. Now I am going to bed, keep me post on this scary fictitious person." Shadow said mocking him. Sahuja growled as he turned his monitor off. The next morning Shadow awoke to his alarm clock going off. He sat up yawning and stretching as he got ready for something far worst then anything he had ever seen or faced, high school. He got dressed in his school uniform, walked downstairs as an figure was waiting for him.

"Morning lazy bones." The figure said in a cheery mood.

"I hate you at times, Alan." He said in a sleepy mood.

"Come on, Jaden. Wake up! Your mom made waffles!" Alan said with a smile on his face.

Jaden rolled his eyes as he shouted,

"OFF TO SCHOOL! LOVE YOU!"

The pair began their long walk toward their school carrying heavy backpacks filled with homework and assignments. The pair continued their walk watching people passing them by.

"I have some information about that kid last night." Alan said in a serious tone.

"Go ahead."

"The boy told police a figure told him to kill his parents and anyone that got in his way or the figure would kill him." Alan reported.

"That would explain the bruising and the defensive wounds." Jaden commented.

"Not only that, but the figure matched our creepy friend." Alan said as the duo arrived at their school.

Jaden stood at the gates to their school and looked up to see the principle looking down. Jaden sighed as Alan and him walked into their homerooms. They hadn't sat down for a minute with the loud speaker rang out.

"Attention students, Jaden Alexander and Alan McNeal need to come to the principle office, immediately."

Jaden slammed his head on the desk as the pair walked into the principle's office.

Jaden rolled their eyes as they got up and walked to his office. When they arrived they open the door as a medium muscular built man with glasses turned around in his chair.

"Gentlemen, I am glad you could arrive. Please take a seat. Now let's down to business. Which one of you is Shadow?"

Jaden and Alan eyes widen as sweat came down their brow.
