After Jake and Cera had found their new friend, they decided to explore the top part of the
Ancient Forest. Jake lived close to the top so he knew what to expect but he did want to show
the other two what its like being up there. Jake went up to his next and showed them "This is
where I sleep and stuff." he said as he lay down on the vines that somehow managed to keep his
body up. Riley sniffed around at the new area and looked around "I smell Jagras..." he said with
a tiny growl emitting from his throat. Jake turned to look at the three Jagras that stalked the
entrance to his humble abode, "Oh, they won't harm you, Cera told them not to attack me." Cera
smirked "I also told them to protect this big firecracker from any hunters." Jake growled and
looked at her "I can protect myself just fine that you." he retorted with a slight glow of red
spreading across his cheeks. Riley just giggled at the two and Jake moved on to show them the
highest part of the Ancient Forest, the Rathalos nest. Cera sniffed around at the new area and a
few Wingdrakes floated above their heads, squawking and diving down to catch some of the
smaller prey that roamed in the trees. Jake's nose flared up and he sniffed the air "It seems to be
alright to explore here, the Rathalos isn't in the locale." He said as he lowered his nose. Riley flies
up and tried to get a closer look at one of the windrakes until he spotted a desert area with giant
spirals rising from the ground "Guys! I found something!" he screeched as he faced the barren
desert. Jake looked up at Riley "What is it?!" he tried lifting his head to look out at the area but
could only catch a glimpse of the place before they heard something coming up the pathway to
the nest.
