Cole
It was a chilly Friday night, and the bar was packed. Pushing through the crowd, I ordered my favorite drink - vanilla crown and Sprite. "Make it a double, please." I told the bar tender. She didn't acknowledge me, but I watched her pour a double shot of the brown whiskey into a glass. She filled the rest of the glass with Sprite, and handed it over the counter. I thanked her and turned around as I searched the crowd for my best friend. We had agreed to meet here tonight.
I spotted Xavier in the corner, standing by the juke box, with a pool stick in his hand. It appeared as though he was flirting with two girls, but they walked away as I approached. "Hey bro! There you are. Let's play some pool. I've been practicing. I'm gonna kick your ass this time." I laughed and said, "oh yeah? Wanna bet a shot on that?" He agreed as I walked to get my lucky pool stick. I always beat Xavier, so I wasn't worried. Xavier racked the balls at our table while I sipped my drink and scanned the crowd. I recognized a few people, but I wasn't friends with any of them. As I set up the cue ball, I felt someone watching me. I turned around, and under the flashing neon lights was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Staring at me. I think?
She had long brown hair and dreamy eyes. I felt my face turn red as I looked around to see who she could be looking at so intensely. Sure enough she was staring straight at me. I suddenly felt nervous and clumsy. I chugged the rest of my drink and tried to start the game. However, I knocked the ball off the table. Much to my embarrassment, it rolled straight to the woman who was still watching me.
I sheepishly walked over as she bent and picked it up. She handed me the ball with a smirk. "Here you go, Cutie." She said. It was hard for me to make eye contact. Her amazing blue-green eyes pierced my soul. I felt light headed and dizzy. "Th-thank you ma'am." I said as I took the ball. I blushed and looked at my feet. She ran her hand down my arm and started to speak. "I'm -"
"Amber!" Xavier exclaimed. I jumped, startled that my friend was suddenly standing next to me. How does he know her? I wondered to myself. "I see you've met Cole. How are you doing? It's been a while!" Amber laughed as she hugged Xavier saying it was nice to see him. I felt a twang of jealousy at Amber hugging another man. I'm not usually a jealous man and wondered what was wrong with me. Get it together Cole! You don't even know this woman. I thought to myself. While trying to get myself together, Amber suggested we go outside to smoke. I put the cue ball back on our table and followed Amber and Xavier outside as calmly as possible. My heart was racing and I was nervous as hell. Why am I so shy?
Outside we could still hear the band playing. I was thankful for the cool air, since I was sweating a little. I looked at Amber as she was talking to Xavier, and noticed that she was wearing a black lacy tank top under a blue v-neck. She was wearing jeans and pretty cowboy boots  I liked that she was wearing my favorite colors.  She had a couple tattoos. My favorite was a dream catcher on her chest. I also noticed she had her lip and nose pierced. Hmm.. my kind of woman. I wonder if she has anything else pierced. I thought as I took a drag of my cigarette. I felt my face turn red again. I looked up and noticed Amber was staring at me. She was almost as tall as me. I tried to give her my cutest smile. She must have liked it because she smiled really big and asked me for my number. I blushed again and stuttered as I gave her my number. Xavier snickered, so I glared at him. Just then, the lights flickered and I heard the bar tender yell last call from inside. I suddenly got anxious, wondering if I would ever see Amber again. I asked if I could buy her a drink. She led us to the bar, with Xavier close behind, and ordered us all a shot of fireball and a beer. I'm not much of a cinnamon person, but I was eager to please her. I took my shot and held back a cough as the whiskey burned my throat. I chugged my beer, feeling a little tipsy. I was hot, but I wasn't sure if it was Amber or the alcohol. Probably both. I paid my tab just before we were ushered outside, so the bar tender could close up. I told Xavier to wait as I walked Amber through the loud, drunk crowd to her car. I nervously told her it was nice to meet her as she hugged me. "It was nice to meet you too Sweet Boy." She whispered in my ear. My breath caught in my throat as she kissed my neck. My whole body grew even hotter and my prince parts started tingling. She laughed teasingly and got in her car. She winked at me and drove away. I stood there, staring at her car, and hoping to see her again. I wanted her to by my Mommy. I had never had a Mommy before.
