Don't want to see her hurt again

Short update

WELCY SIGH WHEN Yassy finally dozed off to sleep minutes ago.

She caress her forehead, parting her bangs to the sides. Yassy move and held her waist in a slightly tight grasp on the side of her shirt.

Welcy knew in herself that Yassy still love Andreas and that it never faded away even if they had a dark past.

Tama nga ang kasabihan na kapag nakatadhana talaga, hindi iyon mawawala. Sa punto na iyon ay tama iyon pero ayaw niyang mangyari para sa kaibigan.

She've seen Yassy suffered because of that. It hurts to see her cry at night in their living room if ever she will come out to go to the comfort room.

Those days were also a nightmare to them because they treated each other more than like friends. They've trained together for years so its like a sister-bond than friendship-bond.

She knew she can't stop what's there and is coming but she still hopes she can help Yassy realise that pain cannot have a place in her heart anymore.

As if mapipigilan mo naman.

Yes, as if she can do that. Who is she to do that. Who is she to say what's best to someone.

Her head look up to the door when someone knocked as it opened and Ate Ivine was there.

She smile when she saw Yassy sleeping on her side, clinging. Welcy smile to the older lady as she move towards them and lightly sat on the bed.

"Nakatulog na pala dito," anito at saka tiningnan si Yassy sabay haplos sa kamay nito na nasa ibabaw ng tiyan niya.

"Yeah," she replied and gently stroke Yassy's back.

"Wels," magaang sambit nito sa pangalan niya kaya tumingin siya ulit dito.

"Hmm?"

"I know you're concerned about Yassy. But whatever happens, we don't have any choice but to support her."

Hindi siya nagsalita. Welcy look down to Yassy. She doesn't know what to say about that. She lost words. Can she even do that if ever it will happen?

Ate Ivine held her hand so she look back to the lady again. The latter gently smile at her.

"I know you're worried, so are we. But I trust Yassy knew what she's doing. Alam niya kung ano ang tama kaya I know she can handle it this time."

She lightly sigh. "I don't know, ate. I hope she really does."

"Matulog na tayo. Sasamahan ko na lang si Jane sa kwarto nila. Good night," nakangiting wika nito sabay halik sa noo niya at ni Yassy na mahimbing ng natutulog.

"Good night, ate," she replied and smile back.

Tiningnan niya si Yassy nang makalabas na si Ate Ivine. Marahan niyang hinaplos ang noo nito.

"Sana nga alam mo na ang ginagawa mo, bunso," mahinang sabi niya.

Sana lang hindi ka na ulit masaktan. At sana makaya ko rin na tanggapin kung sakali. Pero hindi ko alam kung mangyayari iyon agad.
