Dear Diary,
I met the cutest guy today, he was so sweet and caring, and guess what, he’s gay! He asked me out on a date Friday night, I can’t wait! I was in the mall searching for the perfect shoes for Lola’s wedding, I can’t believe my little sister is getting married next week, on Valentine’s day, anyway, I ended up tripping over my own feet dropping the bags I had and they went everywhere! then from no where this cute guy, named Aaron, had picked all my bags up and was helping me up, he was such a gentlemen and bold too, just straight out asked me on a date, I can’t wait!

Dear Diary,
I’m so nervous right now, Aaron will be picking me up for our date soon, He told me to dress nice because he was taking me to a fancy restaurant, I’m in my nicest suit, I just hope he likes me, I have put on some dance songs so I can relax a little bit, But it’s not working. The doorbell just rung, It must be him! Gotta go

Dear Diary,
The date was amazing! He drove us to my favourite restaurant, he paid for the whole meal and after we went for a stroll in the park, he told me all about his family and how much drama he had in his life, and I couldn’t help but to share mine, His story was a lot like mine, how he had gotten teased in high school over his sexuality, how his dad had stopped talking to him after he came out, he is an only child and his mother and him have constant contact with each other, Kind of like mine except it’s my mother that abandoned me and my father and sister that supported me in life, Oh well, Off to have a shower then bed!

Dear Diary,
Well it’s the morning of my sister’s wedding, 3 days since my date with Aaron and he hasn’t called, maybe the date didn’t go that well after all? I would’ve loved to take him to the wedding, it would be amazing to not be single at a wedding for once, gotta go, Lola is calling me for help to get in her dress, bye.

Dear Diary,
So Aaron did end up calling, halfway through Lola walking down the isle, luckily I had my phone on vibrate, I called him during the reception and it turned out his mother was in the hospital, that’s why he hadn’t called, we are going out for lunch in a couple of weeks, after his mum is out of the hospital, I hope they will both be okay

Dear Diary,
That was THE best lunch date ever! Go to it single and come back taken, I think I’m the happiest man alive right now! His mother is alright now, although she does have to have a nurse in the house 24/7, she collapsed in her home and ended up calling an ambulance, Aaron kissed me on my doorstep today, I offered him inside but he had to go to work, going to shower and get back to planning another wedding, cya diary!

Dear Diary,
Myself and Aaron had just come home from the hospital, his mother had a stroke and had passed away, he’s in the shower right now to calm himself down a bit, over the past 3 months I had become very close to his mother, Helene, So I am pretty upset myself, after Aaron gets out of the shower I am going to get him to cuddle on the couch with me until we cry it all out, it may take a while, but it needs to be done

Aaron ran into his room when we came home, he was alright for a few days but him seeing his mother in the casket flew him back into the grieving mood again, being at the funeral for him I did get to meet more of his family, from what I can tell they like me, well I’m going to try and cheer Aaron up a bit now, bye

I’m going out for a dinner date with Aaron tonight, I hope it goes well, I’m going to propose! Well, propose for a ceremony since it isn’t legal, but it’s a nice thought right? shows that I’m ready to commit? I just hope he hasn’t found the ring yet, I want it to be a massive surprise for him

He said yes! I can’t believe it, we’re doing it next march during spring, we were on the luscious green grass by the lake when I pulled the ring out of my pocket, I can’t wait until we adopt, There I said it, I want to adopt kids with this man!

The adoption agency finally came through, now we have a gorgeous boy, Jonathan, he’s a 1 year old with light brown hair and sea blue eyes, gotta go, Aaron’s freaking out already

Dear Diary,
It’s Jonathan’s 4th birthday today, his party starts in an hour and we invited all of his play mates from preschool around, even though we did get calls from some of the parents saying how we are wrong and don’t deserve a child, it doesn’t bother me though, I’ve had that all my like, gotta go help Aaron with the decorations before he collapses onto himself

It’s Jonathan’s graduation today, he grew up so fast, to bad I have to work today so I can’t help Aaron get him ready, can’t wait to see my boy get his certificate!

Dear Diary,
I can’t believe I’m writing this in your diary Matt, your funeral just finished and I read out all these dates that you told me too before you passed, I wish I hadn’t called you to ask why you were late, I should’ve known you were driving, I found out the news while Jonathan was on stage, I didn’t tell him until after we got home not wanting to ruin his special day, he misses you, we miss you, sometimes I hear him crying late at night, neither of us have barely got any sleep and I havn’t seen Jonathan eat since it happened, I know you are watching over us, and someday I will be there with you to help watch over Jonathan, I love you Matt, forever and always, yours Aaron xx
