Have you ever wondered why things were the way they are? Why certain things just work with no explanation? Have you wondered what happened to get us where we are as a species? Have you ever wondered about the supernatural or anything beyond a natural explanation? They always said that curiosity killed the cat. I kind of wish i had listened. I should of stayed away. These things now infest my life everyday.  You see when an old woman with a weird eye says she can grant you gifts, run damn it run fast.  Fucking ghosts, ghouls, and demons all real my friends. Annoyingly real. Not all are evil but all are extremely annoying. Let these following words be a warning to you.

Yesterday started off typically. Waking up in my tiny apartment, alone. Ate the shitty ramen i had and off to my equally shitty job. Flipping burgers is no fun folks. Of course I constantly wished for more, stupid me right? I stood at the counter at my job.
" whats on your mind Mr. gonna be rich." A familiar voice cut through my daydreams.
"You know its an ass move to make fun of my aspirations." I laughed looking at DeDe.
DeDe was a short girl, with overgrown assets and an attitude like none other. She was always curling her brown hair around her finger. Her green eyes always sparkling. She seemed to get kicks of poking fun at me.
She laughed as she clocked out.
"Well I'm out for the night be careful on your way home Eric." She waved as she left.
Shes not bad looking. I thought watching her leave. I shook my head and started cleaning. An hour later i was walking home. The night air was refreshing, the streets were quiet. Small towns like mine are never busy after 9pm. Suddenly i heard shuffling behind me. I spun around and nothing there. I sighed, i must be getting paranoid. I started walking, again the shuffling started. I started moving faster. The shuffling kept pace. Now I'm not usually afraid of noises however this was freaky. I spun around again. Behind me was an old woman. On her face was a smile that unnerved me.
"Can i help you ma'am?" I asked politely.
"Oh no dear however i can help you. I can sense the despair in your heart. What if i could introduce some excitement into your life?" She said with a giggle.
" ma'am no offense but im not into older women." I said backing up.
Her look turned to confused.
"What?" She exclaimed.
"What?" I muttered backpedaling a bit.
"Silly boy that was not what i was offering. Men sheesh. Here drink this soon things will make sense." She said handing me a mason jar of dark liquid.
I looked the jar over.
"What is it?" I asked.
I looked up and the woman was gone. She could move damn. I thought with a shrug.  I made it home with no more incidents. Man if i had only known. I would of tossed that jar.
I looked at it for the longest time. I opened the jar and a strong alcohol scent hit me. I took a sip. It was the best apple pie moonshine i had ever tasted. I downed the rest of the jar. I felt tipsy. I fell over and my last thoughts were thank god tomorrows my day off.
A few hours later i was woken up to something jabbing my side. I swatted whatever it was and rolled over. I felt breathing on my face. I opened my eyes to see someone staring at me.
"Who the fuck are you?" I exclaimed as i struggled out of bed. A grotesque smile was all that i got as a response. The figure was female, however when she stood up she was extremely tall. She lifted her arm and pointed and extremely long finger at me. Her mouth opened into a gaping hole and a loud scream like noise exited her throat.
"Shut up." I shouted.
The creature stopped for a second and cocked her head at me. She seemed to be thinking. Then she was gone.
"What the flying fuck was that?" I asked out loud.
That was only the beginning of my troubles.
