||TWENTY-EIGHT||

FORTH POV

    I sat at one of the tables, watching everyone interact.

    It was weird not interacting with anyone. I was usually talking with someone or everyone. I didn’t know anyone here.

    Beam was off talking to his friends he hadn’t seen in a while.

    I sighed and sat back in my seat. Lay came up and sat in front of me, smiling.

    “Where’s Beam?” She asked. I smiled and pointed to where he was. She nodded and turned back to me. “How long have you guys been together?” She asked. I chuckled and looked down.

    “Not long.” I answered. She eyed me suspiciously.

    “That’s weird. When I talked to Beam a few weeks ago he said he had someone.” She said confused. I smiled and shook my head.

    “No, we’ve only been dating for about a week. Before that we were only friends with benefits.” I answered honestly. She smiled wide.

    “Oh my god. He liked you way before than.” She said. I scoffed and smiled.

    Shaking my head, I looked down.

    “What?” I asked. She laughed and patted my hand.

    “Forth,” she said making me look at her. “I know Beam. I’m not just saying that because we used to date. I’m saying it because I really do. We were best friends. Even before we dated. I’m telling you, he liked you.” She said smiling and nodded.

    I smiled and looked in Beam’s direction.

    He looked at me and smiled and waved. He liked me way before we even admitted it.

    How did I not see the signs?

    “Why aren’t you over there with him?” She asked looking in his direction to. I shrugged and sighed.

    “He’s with his friends. I don’t want to interrupt.” I said. Lay scoffed and waved her hand.

    “You’re his boyfriend. Go over there. Let him introduce you to his friends. Let him show you off.” She said pushing me out of my seat.

    “What if he doesn’t want his friends to know?” I ask, fixing my jacket. She sighed and stood up.

    She turned me around to face Beam and patted my shoulder.

    “Go.” She said pushing me. I smiled and nodded, walking slowly towards Beam.

    “Hey.” I said nervously, walking up to Beam and his group of friends.

    “Hi.” He said smiling as I approached. He wrapped his arm around my waist and hugged me. “You okay?” He asked. I smiled and nodded.

    “Yeah, just feeling a little out of place.” I answered honestly. Beam gave me pouty lips and rubbed my chest.

    “It’s okay, baby.” He said. “Just say with me.” He said smiling wide. I smiled back and nodded. Someone in front of us cleared their throat.

    “Care to introduce us?” We both looked up at three of Beam’s friends. They were looking at us with raised eyebrows. Beam laughed nervously.

    “Guy’s this is Forth. He’s my boyfriend.” He said. “Forth this is M, Tar, and New. They are friends from high school.” He said introducing us.

    I smiled and shook their hands. They smiled and nodded before looking at each other.

    “So, someone finally conquered our Beamie.” M said nodding.

    “And it’s a guy.” Tar said agreeing. I smiled shyly and looked down.

    “Don’t be shy. We’re happy Beam isn’t going around having sex with everyone.” M said laughing. I tensed a little. And I knew Beam felt it.

    I hated when people talked about when Beam had sex with other people. It made me upset.

    Beam rubbed my back up and down. His hands moving closer to my butt each time. I smiled and looked down.

    “Is it okay if I borrow Beam for a minute?” I ask. They all shrug. I nod and grab his hand pulling him with me.

    I find the closest bathroom and pull him inside and lock the door. He looked at me confused.

    “Forth, what are you doing?” He asked. I smiled and back him agaonst the wall.

    I rest my hands on either side of his head. He laughed and shook his head.

    “No, we are not having wedding sex, at my ex’s wedding.” He said putting his hands on my chest. I smile and lean down a little.

    “Why not. I know you want to.” I said kissing his neck.

    He moaned and wrapped his hands around my neck. I smiled against his skin.

    “Forth.” He whispered.

BEAM POV

    “I can’t believe we just did that.” I said buttoning up my shirt.

    Forth laughed and kissed my cheek.

    “You liked it.” He said smirking. I blushed and looked down.

    “That’s not the point.” I said smiling shyly. Forth laughed and shook his head.

    “I love you.” He said wrapping his arms around my waist. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

    “I love you too.” I said.
