 Olivia Pov

My name is Olivia Phenix, I am a princess of Kingdom of Light. My mother is water fairy and my father is an angel of Light and is the king of Kingdom of Light. I have an older brother name Seth. My brother is next in line to be King and for me. I actually have no idea. My mom Sylvia wants me to be co ruler of Light, but my father has plans for me to take over my aunts job, which is general of Lights army. I didn't mind that, but my mom thought that would be dangerous for me. To be honestly I don’t care.

My family and I live in a Temple call Pure Temple. It was huge, white and silver with artistic designs and stone pillars that stood in front of it. Many guards roam around the building to make sure no trespassers can get in. Better yet try to do something stupid.

"Good evening Princess Olivia" A few guards greeted me, as i walk pass by them. I nodded my head towards them and continue to walk. Today was a big festival for Kingdom of Light. Everybody was excited and eager to go on the rides and eat some festival food. As always I would be the only one walking in the middle of a sunset. Seth promise me he would walk with me, but sadly his annoying girlfriend complain and whine about my brother walking with me instead of her. I told me I would be ok walking alone, nothing will happen to me. It's true nothing bad ever happens to me. Since I’m part angel and water fairy. I am capable to beat the crap of people who try to hurt me, but of course my parents and staff worry about me.

I look up at the sky to see the colors yellow and orange mix together, in a wavy way. The sun was about to set down and the moon was starting to take the suns place.

While walking I heard an unusual noise coming from the woods, I turn my head towards the direction. 'The heck is that?' I thought to myself and walked towards to the woods. It was good thing i had my black converse on and not my heels. 'cause this would be hard, basically the woods in this kingdom is an obstacle course. Logs, twigs, branches and other stuff that was on the ground. There was no path or clear way to walk through the woods. So it was hard to walk through.

I kept walking until the noise I heard stopped. I look around with a confuse look, I could have sworn I heard the noise around here.

'Maybe I’m losing it' I said to myself, I brush my long bangs to the side and decide to walk around the woods some more to see if I would hear the sound again.

After about five minutes of walking around the woods. The noise started to appear again but it was more louder.

"Must be getting closer" I started to walk closer and closer, until I saw a gold frame medium length mirror. I could tell it was already night, because of the clear silvery blue moonlight that shine the mirror. It was appealing, it looked like it untouched. I walk more closer to see my reflection in the mirror. I reach over pressing my hand on the reflective surface. That was.... I felt something pull me in, I wasn’t able to react because I was taken in the mirror. I scream as loud as I can and look back to see the mirror disappear, I turn to where I was facing and hit the ground hard...not hard enough to knock me out.

Jinx pov

"You should be out hunting...father is ill and you are the man." My older sister Trixy whispered angrily at me from the other side of the kitchen table.

Every morning before she left she give me the same speech telling me how I need to take care of the family since I'm seventeen and will be eighteen in a couple months. I am the man of the house and I should be doing thing everything my dad did before she tells me to.

"Trixy, you could help me with the hunting, you don't need to go pray all day that father will get better." I growled at her. "Plus everyone knows that the shrine has been abandoned no one will hear your prayers anyway..."

"Father has only been living because the gods have given him live..." She paused and put the plate she was eating from in the sink. "I'm going now, I expect you to have found enough food for dinner, unless you want us to starve."  With that she turned and left the house.

"Maybe I just won't come home tonight then." I mumbled before I slide the cloak over my shoulders. Grabbing my bow and arrows, pocket knife and a messenger bag. I put the hood up so it covered most of my face and began the hunt.

I was out hunting for about three hours and only caught two rabbits and one small turkish bird. I looked up at the sky the moon was rising and I was planning on heading home. I took a couple steps towards home, but stopped in my tracks when I heard a soft thump in the distance. With my mind full of hunting followed the warm light scent. I couldn't tell what the scent was.. I've never found something so sweet and pure. The closer I go the stronger the sweetness got. As I came around the tree I saw a small young looking girl. She had jet black hair that fell slightly on her face, her white dress was covered in mud and her leggings ripped up, blood was running down her left leg. I moved closer and a twig snapped. Her head popped up and looked my way.

"W-whos there?" she asked softly pushing herself up to her feet.

I stepped out of the shadows and our eyes met. "I'm Jinx." My bow in my hand hanging at my side. "Who are you?"
