Everyone is familiar with the technical term for dominance or a dominant male(aka the alpha) the technical definition is power and influence over others but what is true dominance well in the wild the alpha is the toughest and most respected animal in the pack or heard think of wolves for minute in a pack of wolves the alpha is the strongest and most respected wolf in the pack he is also the biggest and most ferocious and feared in the group he asserts his dominance to the male wolfs by challenging them to brawls and when he come out victor the other wolf takes a walk of shame and leaves the pack and as far as the females he asserts the dominance by picking a suitable strong mate and "tags" her my biting her nape or neck drawing blood then goes on to breed with her most of the time you will find the alpha at the front leading the pack to either a hint or to new territory that's the purest form of dominance as for humans most of the time it is the same as in wolves the alpha male is the strongest fastest and most respected and he asserts his dominance by fighting to stay at the top and most of the time is very positive over his companion they are very sleek and charming and can control most anyone they can be very violent with males trying to take his companion...
