Chapter 2 ~ Rain Dancing And Popcorn Fights

Buzz.Buzz.Buzz! I fell off my bed right on a hanger.

What the hell was that?! I blinked before realising what it was.

I grabbed my phone off of my bedside cabinet and clicked on my new message.

I grabbed a jacket and shoved on my favourite converse.

Unlike yesterday it's pretty hot today. I was wearing my ripped denim shorts with a coral crop top.

My hair was down and sticky from the heat.

I grabbed my phone and ran down stairs. "Mum I'll be back in about 40- okay?" I shrieked slamming the front door not waiting for a reply.

I slowly walked down the path to the park when someone grabbed me by the waist. I screamed and turned round struggling to breath.

What do they want from me? Remembering the muscular arms and I looked up the body. And who was it? Jake. "What the hell are you doing I nearly had a heat attack!" I screamed.

"Nearly, but you didn't." He smirked. Ugh. He looks so cute right now, yet he's so annoying. I rolled my eyes.

He stepped closer to me and tightened his grip. It started to hurt! Wow was he strong. "Jake, your hurting me!" I squealed.

"Oh. Sorry." He said letting go of me and scratching the back of his neck.

I took this as my chance to run. I pegged it down the path. I could hear his footsteps racing behind. He was gaining on me! I bolted down even further trying to get to the park.

I heard him chuckling behind me. He scooped me up and kept on running. "Jake the park gate is there!" I laughed fighting trying to get out as he passed the gate not even knowing. "Oh, right!" He laughed turning round.

As we got to the park we sat on the swings and chatted about school. "So. What happened about you and Nancy?" I said awkwardly. "Oh. Nothing, she just got annoying and too clingy. You know what I mean?" He replied smoothly.

"Yeah." I looked at him. He looked so hot. His t-shirt was tight, but not too tight. His chinos fit his legs perfectly. "Is that a little drool there?" He asks smugly pointing at my lips.

"Uh, no!" I reply at little too quickly. I think he noticed how fast I said it!

It started hammering down. I left my jacket on the floor and now it's in a puddle. Yay. The rain was dripping down my face. I was shivering so bad.

I think Jake noticed because he took his jacket off and placed it round my shoulders. Awwww he's so sweet. "Thanks." I smiled up at him.

He smiles back. "Let's go home." He said. He scooped me back up and carried on walking. I took the jacket off and placed it over his head drooping over me so neither of us got wet-well anymore wet. I smiled up at him as he kept on walking.

He smiled back down at me again. "Why do you keep picking me up?!" I asked crossing my arms.

"I don't know. It's just romantic I guess." He said teasing and pouting his lips down at me.

"Ewwwwww coodies!" I squeal and we start laughing. As we got to my door he placed me smoothly on the floor. I smiled at him as I got my keys out my shorts pocket."oh cr-" he was about to finish before I interrupted "whats the matter?" I asked unlocking the door. "I-I forget my keys!" He cursed.

I laughed a little. "Looks like someone's gonna get wet!" I chuckled stepping inside.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. "Then your staying out her with me if I cant come in!" He pulled me tighter. He leaned towards me. What is he doing? Is he going to kiss me? He brushed his lips past my lips and gently kissed my cheek. What the hell?!

"What was that for?!" I asked as he looked down into my eyes. "For a being a beau- I mean nice friend." He smiled.

He held my hands in the dancing position and began to sway with me. In the pouring rain. "Dude! What's your problem? My mums in there!" I quickly let go of him.

"Lauren? Is that you? Come in! Come in! You'll get a cold!" She said as she spotted Jake. "Who's this lovely gentlemen?" She asked pointing to him.

I sighed. "He's just leaving" I say about to shut the door. "Wait, would you like to stay here for the night? You can sleep in Lauren's room on the spare bed! I'll go set it up for you."

Me and Jake we sat up on our beds - single ones! - Watching Breaking Dawn part 2 when my mum came in with popcorn. Me and Jake both grinned at each other when my Mum left. I launched a piece of popcorn at his forehead at It pinged back off.

I couldn't help but laugh. I was in stitches kicking my feet in the air holding my stomach.

He started tickling me launching himself at me.

The popcorn went everywhere and we fell asleep with the TV blaring with Bella and Edward making out. YUK!

My mum had to come in and turn the TV off and take some of the popcorn off the beds so it would be less painful for us to sleep.

We both groaned as she came in and I think Jake fell off his bed.
