Kagami Taiga
It took you a while. but you soon got acquainted with everyone on the team. It really felt like you were part of the group even though all you did was just menial labour.
They appreciated it and that was enough for you.
You also started to become really close with Kagami. You ate lunch together, had inside jokes and even walked home together.
You had fun with him and enjoyed being his friend until Riko mentioned something that changed your perspective completely.
"You know Y/N, you and Kagami would be a good couple." She said as she was watching the guys practice.
You blushed in response.
"I doubt it, we're just friends." You said to her dismissively.
"Oh, and why is that?" She looked at you curiously.
"I don't know. I guess I just never thought about it." You replied.
And just like that you imagined Kagami hugging you from behind.
You cheeks turned red just thinking about it.
You wondered if you were developing feelings for him, if being more than friends was even a possibility.
You became so lost in thought that you were startled when you felt someone flick you on your forehead.
"Ow!" You immediately move your hands to soothe your forehead.
"We're done practicing, you should probably get to cleaning." Kagami said in a serious tone.
You were confused by this. He wasn't usually like this.
"Sorry, did I miss something?" You looked at him with concern.
"Tch." He just looked away.
"Did I do something wrong?"
"It's fine, I'm gonna go change."
He went to the change room.
You were confused. He usually would offer to help you, but he didn't and he also wouldn't maintain eye contact. Was he mad at you? It made you sad.
Little did you know that he overheard your conversation with Riko and was hurt by it.
It made him uneasy, but he was determined to make you fall for him.
Kuroko Tetsuya
Ever since you made that promise to him you slowly started to make some progress.
By spending more and more time with you him you weren't as surprised when he would speak up.
It made you happy.
"Hey Tetsu, let's go to school together!" You said as you exited your house.
He gave you a simple nod.
"Y/N, why do you care so much about noticing me?"
"Because, I hate that there's even a second of the day that people forget you exist." You replied.
"Is that really a bad thing? That part of me is what makes me good at basketball."
"I guess so, but isn't it isolating?" You shrugged.
"It was when I was younger, but I got used to it." He explained.
"Well if you're fine with people not noticing you, then I'm okay with it too." You said to him.
