How long without Gavin Free?

Month 1:

I got up from my bed and checked the time, 2:34pm. Summer was all about sleeping in so why the fuck not? I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and saw that I had a few messages-

Geoff: hey guts wr shud al hng out agin

[3:48am]

He was probably drunk again.

Michael: Hey wake up.

Michael: Wake up stupid.

Michael: Just kidding I love you.

Michael: But text me when you awaken.

[12:56pm]

Ray: I fucking hate reading this dumb ass book. NO ONE GIVES A FUCK.

[1:02pm]

I assume Ray was talking about our summer reading assignment.

Jack: Did you happen to get a drunk text from Geoff?

[1:34pm]

And one text I did not expect to see...

Gavin: I miss you.

I hadn't seen or talked to Gavin in a month. I thought it would be easy but it really wasn't. I felt terrible because he loved me while I loved Michael and Barbara loved him.

Hopefully when we get back to school everything will go back to normal, and not be so complicated.

I decided to reply to Michael,

Me: I'm up.

Michael: Yayyyy come over.

Me: Bleh.

Michael: What the fuck is that suppose to mean?

Me: My bed is really comfortable

Michael: Ill come over then

Me: Yaaayyyayayayay

I decided to reply to the other guys as well,

Me to Jack: Yes. He thinks "wr shud hng out agin"

Me to Ray: I know right??? I think I'll get Chris to give me his notes from the book.

Me to Geoff: Goddammit Geoff.

I was unsure if I should reply to Gavin. I wanted to but I didn't want to lead him on... I hovered my finger over his conversation until I heard my doorknob rattle. Michael entered the room with a large smile on his face.

"Hey there beautiful." He said. I locked my phone and put it on my nightstand.

"Hi." I replied.

"Wanna do something?" He asked while sitting on my bed.

"Nah. It's one of those days where I just want to lay down and play some video games." I responded.

"Oh well we could do that." Michael smiled and pulled himself next to me on the bed. I noticed his mood was unusually happy.

"You're oddly chirpy today." I commented.

"I'm just happy to see you." He responded with a giggle.

"I'm happy to see you too. Now come here and lie closer to me." I said gesturing to my side.

He pulled up closer and put the covers over him.

"So how is this whole Gavin thing going?" Michael asked anxiously.

"Fine I guess. I haven't seen him but he texted me earlier." I responded.
