Training Day

I was left with one of the battle suits David had been wearing. It didn't look as good on me as it did him. I slid on my new boots, tied my hair and decided I was ready. Ready for what? I didn't know.David met me downstairs with a big wild grin in his masculine face. He was beaming with excitement although he tried not to show it much.  

" Ready to train?" He asked. 

" Sure let's do it." I replied 

" So how are you feeling today?" He asked, trying to start up a conversation. 

" I'm not sure. I don't feel like myself anymore. I feel like a different person but still in my old body. I'm just waiting to see what happens." David glanced over at me.

" I'm sorry. I bet its really hard taking all this in. No matter how hard things get I will always be here with you. I promise I'll never let you down." I almost wanted to cry. He was so sincere and sweet. 

" David, I'm glad your here with me. I don't think I could bear it without you." 

" I wouldn't have it any other way, love." He breathed the word love into my ear. Once again my heart melted. The urge to jump on him and kiss his lips started to burn through me. I felt so dirty wanting a man like that. For a guy that didn't want to take my virginity, he sure was a damn tease. I suppressed my desires and wondered what was on the other side of the large oak doors ahead. It was a large field. Covering the terrain was the greenest grass I had ever seen. Their were a few trees spread out to decorate the area. They reminded me of Japanese Plum trees. In the middle of the field was a large square area of sand. Off to the side of the field was a shed. I wondered what was in there. 

David stood across from me in the sandy area. " Ok. You ready Molly? Come at me. Show me what you got." David said,smirking. 

" What! I can't hit you." I said, laughing. 

" Fine. Have it your way. Defend yourself." Without any warning and lightning fast speed, David kicked my feet from under me. 

"Ow!" I screamed. 

" Was that really necessary?" I asked, my cheeks red from blushing. 

" Get up and defend yourself." He said bluntly. I got up with one goal in mind. I was determined to knock David on his ass. We ran towards each other. As I came up in front of him, I slid through his legs. I turned around and mounted myself on his back. He fell to the ground with his face landing in the dirt. I got off him so he could get up.  

" Not bad." He admitted. 

" Oh whatever. Come on David, that was awesome." 

" Since your so awesome we can move on to the next lesson. Are you ready for hand to hand combat? Get in position, defend yourself and try  to hit me. Out here in the field, we're warriors Molly. So clear everything from your mind and fight with youre all" He was so hot when he acted all warrior like. He wanted a fight. I was going to give him one. With our fist in the air and our guard up we went for each other. I threw a punch at him and he side-stepped it. He slid his foot under my feet, once again tripping me in one swift motion. If you saw it it would be nothing but a blur. We were moving inhumanly fast. "Come on, Molly. Can't you hit me" He teased. 

" I can and I will!" 

I don't know what I was doing. It felt like an ancient primal instinct was taking over. I felt powerful and invincible. I zig zagged and circled David with impossible speed. David looked like he had become dizzy. He froze where he stood. He couldn't even see me. I stopped behind him, wrapping my arm around his neck. I put my mouth next to his ear. 

" If you were a real enemy and not this hot warrior of a man that I'm in love with. I could of snapped your neck five seconds ago, honey." 

David turned around and looked into my eyes. My words seemed to have shocked him. I grabbed his face and kissed him hard. After we drew back from our kiss, David just stared. He was speechless. After a minute or two he finally said something. 

" So are you serious? You're really in love with me?" He asked, bewildered. 

" Oh come on David! Don't tell me you haven't notice. I would of gave my virginity to you if you hadn't denied me. Its impossible not to think about you. It drives me crazy!" 

" I really love you too. I loved you the first time I saw you. It might sound crazy but no one can know. Chrystanni and Fiona would not approve." said David. 

" Who are they to judge us. They can't tell me who I can't love." 

" No, their right Molly. Your not here to fall in love. You're here to train. Your here to kill Demetrius. There is lot you don't know or understand. I don't want to be a distraction for you. After you deal with the bastard, your free to do what you want to an extent." He explained.

" What do you mean to an extent?" I inquired. 

" Right now your a goddess in training. You haven't discovered all your powers and abilities yet. When you are a fully developed Goddess, you will be responsible for your actions. The great ones watch us and if we use our magic irresponsibly or have bad intentions, they will find you and kill you." He said. 

" Who are the great ones and why don't they just kill Demetrius?" I asked curiously. 

The Great Ones are an ancient group of Gods. They have been here since time began. They know of Demetrius but its your job to defeat him. Its the only way to prove your worthy of the responcibility of being a Goddess." We stood in silence for a few minutes.  

" Well, were done training for the day. I'll walk you back to your room. Tomorrow morning meet me out here to continue."
