Valentine's Day

Boruto blinks his eyes several times after waking up 7:30 in the morning.

He had a habit of waking up late eversince he was twelve. But that was something he carried along until now that he's 17 years old.

He sat up and let out a yawn and tried opening his eyes- despite the feelings that he still wants to sleep.

He shifts his head lazily with his eyes half open and faced the widely open window.

''Damn mornings.'' He mutters in complain and rubs his eyes.But still he felt sleepy.

When he looked at the calendar, his sleepy face began looking into a worried one.

''Wait up....'' he began talking to himself, which wasn't something he found weird. As a matter of fact, it felt usual.

''Valen-'' He was about to scream but was cut off when a blue haired girl-with matching light blue eyes and 2 whiskers on her cheeks, entered his room looking sleepy.

''Big brother? What's with the noise?'' His little sister, Himawari asked.

''Oh uhhh....'' Boruto was unsure on how to answer his little sister.

Himawari let out a deep sigh and later on wore a blush on her cheeks.

''I know...Valentine's day...'' She sounded disappointed, which was very unusual of her.

''What's the matter?'' Boruto asks worried.He was always a caring brother to Himawari. And it would bother him to find out if someone offended her or hurt her, in any way.

Himawari bows her head down, looking down on her feet.She shut her eyes for a second and revealed how much it's filled with despair the moment she opened it.

''Answer me Himawari.'' Boruto politely pleads as Himawari looks up to him, looking shy.

Did someone rip her favorite teddy bear? Ah that must be it!
Boruto thought.

''Something about teddy bears?'' Boruto tried to guess but it only caused Himawari to send icy glares on him.

''Ok ok! It's not'' Boruto surrenders before Himawari even activated her byakugan.

Eversince the first time Himawari activated her byakugan, Boruto never thought of messing with her on purpose.

But his natural stupidity just makes everything look like a joke.

''It's not that big brother....'' Himawari speaks up.

Boruto removed his awkward expression and tried listening sincerely to his sister.

''It's Valentine's day....And...'' Himawari couldn't continue. But Boruto already knew what this means.

''Chocolates huh.'' Boruto assumes as Himawari nods.

''For who?'' Boruto asks which made Himawari's eyes widen.

She blushed harder and didn't utter a word.But Boruto still expected an answer.

''I-Inojin...'' Boruto already expected that. But he haven't confirmed about it though.Well, now he did.

''Hmmm...Just give it to him.'' Boruto encouraged his sister.

Himawari let out sigh and looked a bit more determined.''I guess.'' She said and walked out.

''You should prepare too brother.....'' Himawari reminded him, facing her back on Boruto before she shut her door to dress up.

The door slammed shut and Boruto was left alone in his room.

He turned to his table beside him and noticed a rose bouquet.
