Never Leave me Again

"Please don't be gone from me ever again"

Hello everyone elemento here. This is my first time making a story/novel, so please bear with me :v. Now, this just a 1 part story or one-shots or short story...so yeah. Now that's set and done let's continue to the story.

If Sonya remembered clearly, she was the one who took the initiative.

She went and confess to her childhood friend, Dean, about her feelings that she kept ever since high school, she confessed right after the graduation ceremony ended.

Sonya expected Dean to reject her confession, she expected him to say no and just stay friends, she knows how much pain it is to get rejected especially if it's your childhood friend. But she never expected Dean to raise her chin up as Dean closed his eyes and meet his lips to hers, kissing her, her eyes widened at the sudden action.

As there lips seperated, Dean looks at Sonya's face who is blushing hard, still shocked from the kiss.

Dean chuckled on how cute she is and holds her hand, who Sonya looks at him, happy and relieved she is feeling right now as tears slipped down on her cheeks.
"I love you too."

"Hey Dean, wake up."

That call became Dean's wake up alarm, everytime she wakes him, Dean hugs her and bumps his nose to her's giving her a peck on the lips.

"Morning."

It's been years since they both decided to live together, it was Sonya's idea ever since Dean got a job of becoming a doctor. It's been a rough six years for Dean because through his college years of learning medical education, it was all stress and not getting enough sleep, but Sonya was always there for him, supporting him and helping him on becoming a professional doctor.

"So how is your novel doing?" he said as he sat on the chair.

"It turned out nicer than expected." she said "I just hope that I finished it before the deadline comes."

"Is it your running series?"

"Well it's kind of a sequel following my last book" she explained "I hope it would be great."

"Your writing is always awesome Sonya."

Blush blossomed on the novelist's cheeks, she coughed awkwardly and mouthed the word thank you as a reply. She grabbed the plates and goes to the table to eat breakfast.

"I'll be back before dinner," he said as he fixed her coat. "Oh and please have enough rest before you continue your novel"

Sonya chuckled on how worriesome Dean can sometimes get, "Don't worry I will."

"You promise?"

"Yes yes I promise Mr. Doctor worriesome." She said as she teased him and gave him a grin.

After that Dean looked at her and holds her hand, which Sonya did as well, as he closed their distance together, his lips met with hers. It was a short kiss but still sweet.

"I'll be going then." he cupped her cheeks and share their last bump on her forehead.

"Take care."

She looked at the door, somewhat feels nervous, like an aura that makes her uncomfortable, she doesn't know why she is feeling this, but she just shrugged it off and knocked on the door.

"Wait" she heard a response inside, it took a while before the door opened, revealing Sonya Middleton, wearing a plain blue shirt and a pair of sweatpants.
