Sqaishey's POV
I walked past the weird gates and onto the train station platform. The train wasn't supposed to leave for another thirty minutes so I could take my time choosing a carriage. Most of the time I would choose a carriage right at the end as they seemed to be the ones that got the least crowded, as people couldn't be bothered to walk straight down to the end of the train. When I had walked what seemed like a mile to the very large carriage, it was defiantly worth it. As there was nobody in there, and it also happened to be the largest carriage of the whole train.
Even though the carriage was one of the biggest of the train, it looked like it was the least-safe out of all of them. When I stepped into the carriage it shook a bit, even though I didn't really step that hard onto it. The doors also seemed a bit loose as well, including the emergency one. Which kind of terrified me. But I really couldn't be bothered to get onto another carriage now, so all I did was sit down in the middle of this one, put my bag on the seat next to me, and pull out my phone.
When I pressed the home button, the notification I had set myself popped up on screen. I couldn't help but smile. It read: 'Meeting Stampy Cat! :D'. I still don't know why I set it, I would never forget today! It was my first time meeting Stampy in real life, and I was actually slightly nervous. I stayed up until the early hours of this morning just thinking about what was going to happen, and what I should say and all that stuff. It was stupid though. It wouldn't be any different to when we are talking over Minecraft and other games. The only difference is that we were talking face to face.
The carriage door closed with a rattle and seconds later the train started jolting along the track. For a moment I had a horrible feeling that we were going to crash. Sighing, I stared out the window oppiste me at the busy, car filled streets and tried to relax. Why was I still so nervous? Was my brain trying to tell me something about this trip? Sighing, I brought my knees up to my chest and tried my best to fall asleep, as this train ride was going to be around two hours long.
Unluckily, trying to fall asleep when you get jolted every two minutes didn't really go down well. No matter what position I was in I always hit my head against the nearby pole or something like that. I turned on my phone again and decided to play some Minecraft PE. I could never get away from Minecraft, even from a two hour train ride. I opened up my main survival world and just finished my mining trip, and started building a new section to my house for my dog that I somehow managed to tame. Apparently the dogs in the Minecraft PE version are extremely rare, so I was a little bit scared of killing them.
After around a hour of constant building, I swiched my phone off and stared out the window. Rain had started to pour down which gave off a creepy sort of feeling to the backyards that almost looked abanoned. Most of them were overgrown, with the grass trailing up the wooden fences and turning into vines. Yet when I was younger I would have loved to have a garden right next to a train track. It must be amazing to be woken up by the sound of a train rushing right by your window. Well, it must've been annoying for some people, listening to it all of the time, but, for like a week, it must be amazing.
Soon, the houses panned out into the countryside. Miles and miles of nothing but green and wheat filled fileds looked amazing. I smiled to myself and leaned back in my chair. Even with the rain that was pouring down it still looked beautiful. So it was kind of a shame when the office buildings and hotels of the city overtook the green-ness. But that also meant that it would only be around ten more minites until the train pulled up at the station where I was meeting Stampy. I was so exicted! Yet I really wished the train would speed up and get to the station quicker mainly because my bladder was close to bursting.
