Seven - Future Revelations: Gran Pulse

As the ship got closer to the ground Lightning and Natasha broke the windscreen and just before the ship crashed into the palisades of a large tower they jumped out and landed on the ground. However Lightning fell to the floor due to her injured leg. Natasha and Lightning then looked up to the gate as it flashed into life. A green ship then appeared and then went away from them.

"Where are we" Natasha asked Lightning.

"I think we're at Taejin's tower." Lightning said looking at the once towering structure. Now after several hundred thousand years the tower was broken. The first eight floors were still accessable however most of the tower rested on the wasteland next to the towers base.

"Mum look the ship is landing" Natasha said to Lightning as she helped her to her feet. The ship then landed near the wreck of the fighter that Natasha had stolen. After the ship had landed a ramp extended from the bottom of it and out came four people. Lightning recognised the tall man with the afro, while Natasha recognised two of the teens. The group of four then walked over to the crash site.

"Who are they" Lightning asked looking at Natasha. Then Lightning looked at the four people and noticed a single flan heading towards them. Without hesitating she pulled out her gun-blade and shot the flan through the head killing it instantly. The people then ran towards the canyon that lead to the entrance of the tower. Then Natasha and Lightning saw the reason why. Several more flan appeared and started to chase the four strangers who were running.

"We need to follow them Mum" Natasha said before she started to run after them.

"Natasha wait" Lightning shouted making Natasha stop and look back at her with her deep blue eyes. Lightning then limped over to Natasha who was waiting there.

"What" Natasha said.

"We have to stay together until I can run." Lightning said to Natasha.

"I'm sorry" Natasha said looking at Lightning.

"For what" Lightning asked her.

"Shouting at you" Natasha said.

"Natasha you can take your life into your own hands from now on. If you want me to leave I will." Lightning said to Natasha before she started to limp off towards the ship that the other people arrived in.

"Mum don't leave please." Natasha begged her.

"I was only joking Natasha I won't leave you until you decide you want me to."Lightning said as she turned around and looked at Natasha. "Shall we get going then" Natasha said smiling at Lightning. "Lets go then" Lightning said before running towards the canyon leading to the entrance of the tower. After a few minutes of running they arrrived at a massive stone door that lead to the interior of the tower. Once they went through the stone doors Natasha and Lightning walked down a long corridor until they reach a large chamber. Near the centre a elevator came down and then it's doors opened. "Let's get on then" Natasha said before she and Lightning got onto the elevator and pulled a lever that moved it up to the forth floor. After the elevator stopped the door opened and Lightning and Natasha walked out of it and into a large room that was near the elevator. A vampire Cie'th then apppeared and tried to attack Lightning. She then jumped over it's arm and then shot the Cie'th in the head, instantly killing it and causing it to fall on to the floor. Lightning then leaned against a wall because her chest wound was starting to hurt. "Mum, you need to rest" Natasha said to Lightning. "I'm fine Natasha" Lightning said back to her. "Mum your wound" Natasha shouted. "Don't worry about it Natasha" Lightning said sternly "I'll live". The elevator slowed to a stop revealing two females who looked the same age. They stopped what they were doing as Luke stepped off the elevator. Autumn swiftly followed. She took one look at them and her footsteps faltered. "Are you the Natasha we met in Palumpolum?". "Yes" Natasha replied simply. Luke also faltered, he obviously didn't expext Lightning to be the woman he saw at Amanda's. "Wait if you are the Natasha from the past where is the real Natasha?" Autumn shot Luke a look of warning."I am the real Natasha... Think of it this way. Your Natasha met you in this exact same spot years ago, Even though you were not born. How? It is like an parallel universe. Whatever your Natasha does now, I will do in the future, just like many other Natasha's in other universes." "So you are saying that there is some other Echo's out there who have done what I have done?" Echo asked peeping from Luke's shoulder. "Yes, and many more will do what you are doing now sometime in their future" Natasha explained. Wow!" Echo sighed dreamily. Autumn tapped her foot impatiently "So where is our Natasha?" Natasha shrugged "Wherever she has gone, I don't know until I do it myself" "Makes sense, I guess" Autumn said eyeing Luke warily. His right hand was resting on the hilt of his sword. "So you are Serah and Snow's child" Lightning said as she stood using the wall for support. "They have more?" Lightning sounded surprised. Autumn nodded "Twins". "The boy that looks like Snow, I assume." Lightning asked taking a small step away from the wall. Again Autumn nodded. "You look like your mother" "So I have been told" Autumn glared at Luke who was now slowly removing his sword from it's hilt. "I know what you are planning Luke" Lightning said, standing up straight. Luke looked surprised "How do you know my name?" "I know many things, including the fact the statues told you to kill me" Lightning said calmly "I also know that my time is not yet up and I will see Autumn and Ashton grow up" "You know nothing" Luke said pulling his sword all the way out. She winked at him before looking pointedly at Echo. "Mum" Natasha groaned from beside Lightning. Suddenly Luke launched at Lightning. Lightning pulled out her gun-blade in blade mode. The sound of metal hitting metal filled the air. "You are way over your head kid" Lightning said to Luke. "I'm not a kid" Luke said back to Lightning before he tried to slash at her but failed to hit her. "Yes you are" Lightning replied before slicing Lukes arm, causing him to drop his sword and fall onto the floor. Lightning then placed the edge of her gun-blade against Luke's chest. "Mum stop" shouted Natasha getting Lightning's attention. "This does not involve you Natasha. Stay out of this." Lightning said to Natasha as she started to pull the edge of the blade from Luke's chest. She then walked towards Natasha and Echo who were standing next to each other. Lightning was unaware though that Luke was picking up his sword. "Mum behind you" Natasha shouted to Lightning. As she turned around to face Luke, he drove his sword through the wound on Lightning's chest, causing her grip to loosen on her gun-blade. He then pulled the sword from the wound and as he did Lightning's grip on her gun-blade went, making her drop it. As it hit the ground with a loud thud. A few seconds later Lightning followed the gun-blade's direction and with a loud thud she fell on to the stone floor.  Natasha ran to Lightning who was lying on her back while a large pool of blood started to form under her left shoulder. "Hold on Mum" Natasha said as she reached Lightning and held her hand. "Natasha, look after your aunt Ser..." Lightning didn't finish the sentence and she then stopped moving. Her hand fell from Natasha's hand on to the cold stone floor. Then above them the last floor rotated to allow access to the apex of the tower. Natasha looked up at Luke. As Luke looked at Natasha he felt guilty and ran to the elevator. Before he reached it though a large wall of ice suddenly appeared. As he turned around Luke saw Natasha, however Natasha looked different to him. Her eyes were completely black and her hair was the same colour as her eyes. Sazh and Echo looked at Lightning's body and noticed a white glow where her brand is. "What's happening" Sazh asked looking at Echo. "With Natasha or Lightning" Echo replied. "Well Lightning" Sazh said looking at Lightning's body. Luke then looked at Natasha's arm. "You killed my mother Luke" Natasha said looking straight at Lukes eyes. "I didn't mean to" Luke said terrorfied. Ice then began to form around Natasha's right arm until it reached her shoulder. "Still you killed her and I will make sure you wish that you didn't" Natasha said to Luke before creating a ball of ice from her hand. She then threw the ice ball and it cut Luke's face. Lightning's leg bandage then began to disappear, revealing a scarless leg and then the chest bandage did the same. After the glow disappeared Sazh and Echo looked at Luke who was badly bruised and cut. Lighning's eyes then opened and fixed onto Natasha, who had just created a spike made out of ice. Lighting then stood up and started to walk to Natasha. "Stop now Natasha, before you kill him." Lightning said to Natasha. Natasha turned to face Lightning. The spike made of ice then shattered and Natasha fell towards the floor and Lightning caught her before she hit the ground. All the ice around her right arm then fell off on to the stone floor. Lightning placed Natasha on to the floor and looked at the wall of ice. She then moved her arm up towards the wall of ice and as she moved her arm down the wall  it started to melt until the elevator entrance was visable. "Autumn tell them about me and Natasha. Also look after Luke until he can walk normally. Echo take this." Lighting then passed her a small piece of metal. "What is it" Echo asked her. Look at your brand and think of your home. You will then know what it is. Get out of here now i'll stay behind and look after Natasha." Lightning said to Echo before she walked over to Natasha. " I have one question" Echo asked Lighting politely. "What is it" Lightning said looking at Echo. "How are you still alive" Echo asked in disbelieve of Lightning being alive. "Autumn will tell you. Now grab that idiot over there and go to the apex. Also take Sazh with you aswell" Lightning said to Echo before she walked back to Natasha and picked her up. Without saying anything Echo walked over to Luke and picked him up by the shoulder. Sazh followed Echo, Luke and Autumn into the elevator and then Sazh pulled the lever.  "Thank you" Lightning said to them before the elevator door closed. Lightning walked out of the room that they where in and went to a elevator that would take her and Natasha back the the ground floor of Taejin's Tower. By the time they reached an elevator Natasha's hair and eyes had returned to normal and she then started to wake up. However as soon as she woke up Natasha went back to sleep. Once in the elevator Lightning placed Natasha on one of the seats that where in the elevator and then looked at her right fore-arm.. As she removed the shoulder pad Lighting gazed on to Natasha's brand. Since she last saw it Natash'as brand had moved to the last phase. An eye had opened in the middle and the outer ring was now connected. Lightning then took a piece of cloth from her leg sacthel and tied it around the brand covering it from sight. Lightning then reattached the shoulder pad and then Natasha woke up. "Mum, is that you" Natasha asked gazing at Lightning. "Yes it's me Natasha and before you ask you're not dreaming either." Lightning said to Natasha. Natasha then hugged Lightning. "I though you died mum" Natasha said starting to cry. "Natasha I'm a Fal'Cie. I can't die, just like you can't because you are also a Fal'Cie." Lightning said to Natasha as she wiped a tear from Natasha's cheek. "I know about the Fal'Cie thing mum. And I think we should stay together. Snow can look after aunt Serah." Natasha said to Lightning and she forced herself to stop crying. The elevator then stopped as it reched the ground floor. The door then opened revealing several Silver Lobo's surrounding the exit of the tower. "How many are there?" Natasha asked Lightning "There's a pack here so we need to be careful."Lightning replied to Natasha's question. Lightning then walked out of the elevator slowly. Natasha then followed Lightning. When they reached the entrance some of the Lobos looked at Natasha. One of them then growled and the pack then began to run towards Natasha and Lightning. "Run" Lightning shouted and her and Natasha then ran down the corridor while being chased by several Silver Lobos. After they got out of Taejin's Tower Natasha and Lightning went to the palisades of the tower and they then found Sazh's Havoc Skytank. "We could use that to leave" Natasha suggested to Lightning. "Good idea" Lighting replied back. After they entered the skytank Natasha ignited the engines and then took off. " Where are we going then" Lightning asked "We'll fly this to Oerba and then look for a gate to return to our time." Natasha said to Lightning. "Ok then" Lightning said back to Natasha. Once the Skytank reached Oerba there were several Cie'th wondering it's streets. Using the skytanks turrets all the Cie'th were killed and then Natasha landed the Skytank on the beach. Natasha then lowered the main landing ramp and then Lightning and Natasha walked on to the sandy ground of the village Oerba. A yellow warp gate then opened near a ruined building. Lightning and Natasha then walked towards it and then it began to drag them in. After they had gone through the gate closed.
